I absolutely hate it when people spam on my page. I will say that I used to do it but I noticed it wasn't getting me anywhere and I was probably frustrating those people. I see how it can be extremely annoying to people.
Someone posted on my page today and asked me if I could read their story and that set me on edge. Another person posted their story on my page 4 days ago and asked if I could read it without them returning the favor. TF? When I used to do this, at least I offered to read the other person's story in return so it could be fair.
I don't do free read request. The only time I do free reads is when I'm pleasure reading; that means I found the story on my own and it interested me. I do not enjoy spam on my page so if you have a story you want read, PRIVATE message me don't put it on my message board.
That's what the share your story club is for. It's there specifically for that purpose so use it! Now if it's a person who has an account specifically for book reviews and stuff like that I guess that's okay but if it's just a normal account don't promote your story on their page. It's rude and impolite.
