AUTHOR'S NOTE:Not all of them will end up happy, some might, others might not. Just letting you know.

You and Calum hadn't talked for a few days and you were beginning to get more and more upset about it. You realized you were more upset about not talking to Calum for three days than you have been when your own boyfriend has ditched you and done something to hurt you. You were trying to figure out what that even meant and you realized it was the time to take a break from Dalton. You both agreed you needed some space away from each other and if in a month's time you two were over everything else you'd get back together. You were expecting him to be calm about it because it honestly didn't seem like he cared much, but a day after you suggested the break he began to talk about you to a few people in a bad way. You kept hearing what Calum said to you a few days ago play over and over again in your head. The scene just kept playing in your mind and you felt like total and complete crap about the whole thing. This whole time you had been hurting your best friend unknowingly and now because of your stupid mistake he might be gone. You had tried to call him and text him but he denied every call, and ignored every text. He didn't want to talk to you and you understood that, but all you wanted to do was apologize and work things out. You wanted to make things right. You sighed as you grabbed your coat and walked out of the house. Luckily he didn't live that far away from you so you could just walk to his house. This was the last thing you could've done because he can't possibly ignore you when you directly come to him, could he? After walking for a half an hour you finally got to his house. You stared at the house and took a deep breath before walking up to the front door. You knocked lightly and waited for someone to get the door. A few moments later the door opened and you saw his sister standing there. "Oh, hey, (Y/N)!" She smiled at you, opening the door so you could come in. "Calum's upstairs if you were wondering." She told you and you nodded your head. "Thanks. I'll see you later?" You asked her and she nodded her head, disappearing into the familiar house. You looked over at the stairs and sighed before you walked up them. You knocked on his door and waited for his reply. You didn't want to just walk in because you had no clue what he was doing. "One second!" You heard his voice call out and you couldn't help but let a smile creep onto your lips. You hadn't heard his voice in a while and you missed it. "Okay." He said again and you took a deep breath, shaking out your nerves and opened the door. You saw him sitting on his bed with a controller in his hand. Typical of him to be playing video games right now. "Hey..." Your voice was quiet. The room fell silent and the only thing you could hear was the sound of your heart pounding. "I've been avoiding you for a reason that doesn't mean come to my house." He groaned as he placed the controller on his side table. "Look, (Y/N)-" "No, Calum, just let me talk." You interrupted him and he sighed, sitting down on his bed and letting you talk. "I kind of broke up with Dalton." You told him and he just sat there with the exact same expression he had before. "Aren't you going to say something?" "What do you want me to say? Do you want me to jump up and down with joy because you broke up with your boyfriend? You could've done that a long time ago, but you didn't, so what's the difference going to make that you're breaking up with him now? If the reason why you broke up with him is because of what I said then I'm glad you finally came to your senses to realize that he was an asshole to you and always was, but I'm not going to sit here and have you tell me how you might have made the wrong choice or whatever. I don't want to be your therapist anymore and I don't want to sit through you talking about the latest thing Dalton did, because quite frankly I couldn't give a fuck about him and I never did. I knew the moment you got with him he was bad news and I knew this was going to happen, but you didn't listen to me and you're heartbroken and I hate seeing you like that, but I tried to warn you. I tried to tell you he was no good for you and there are other guys out there that would be so much better than him, but did you listen? No, you didn't and now you're standing here crying in front of your best friend who is so in love with you, but do you care? If I didn't mention to you anything about my feelings would you honestly be standing here right now telling me you broke up with your boyfriend?" You both stood there in silence, neither of you saying a word. You couldn't find the words to say to him. "Exactly. I'm sorry, but I don't think I can be your friend anymore. It's hurts too much to be around you because it only makes my feelings for you stronger..." His head hung low and you felt your heart break for the second time that week. You shook your head and tried to reason with him, but he wouldn't listen to anything you had to say. You eventually left his house crying and walked home looking at the ground the whole time so people wouldn't see that you were bawling your eyes out. You had just lost your best friend; for good.
