Chapter 13

I woke up in the hospital bed with Lance sleeping next to me on a chair holding my hand. I smiled and kissed his forehead.

Me: Lance, wake up.

He stirred in the chair tiredly, I just giggled and whispered in his ear.

Me: Let me try this again.

I pushed him off the chair onto the floor, his eyes opened and the look on his face was priceless, I couldn't help but laugh.

Me: You okay sweetie?

Lance: Y-yeah.

Me: Get the doctor.

Lance: Why, is everything okay?!

Me: Yes, I'm just hungry.

Lance: Okay.

He got up and walked out of the room while I just sat there in my bed and flipped through the channels to see if there was anything good on TV. There wasn't.

Lance: Okay, I'm here. I couldn't find the doctor, but I got the nurse.

The nurse walked in and smiled at me kindly. She had tan skin and blond hair with curls. She opened up her ipad and looked for my name.

Nurse: Jennifer, right?

Me: Yes.

Nurse: What can I do for you today miss?

Me: I'm hungry.

Nurse: Okay, what would you like to eat?

Me: Ummm........ I don't know, any random thing I guess.

Nurse: Okay, I'll pick out something.

She smiled and walked out. Lance held me and kissed my forehead lightly like always.

Lance: Feeling better?

Me: Yes.

I lied, I just want to get out of here. I don't like staying in a new place for so long.

Lance: That's good.

Me: I know sweetie.

Lance: When do you think you can leave?

Me: Well first get Nema.

Lance: Why?

Me: Just please do it.

Lance: Okay.

He left as soon as the Nurse came back in with my food, I just sat there and thanked her as I ate. She smiled and went to care for the next patient. I hope Lance hurries up soon.

Later.......

Lance: Jenni!

Me: Yo!

Lance and Nema walked in, her eyes grew wide and her jaw dropped.

Nema: Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, where in the life thrash you this bad?!

Me: It started when I became Empress, now help me.

Nema: Right.

Me: Lance, leave.

Lance: What, why?

Me: Leave.

Lance: But-

Me: Now.

Lance: Oh, alright.

Once he left, Nema locked the door and shut all the windows. Then her hands started to glow blue to indicate her healing power.

Nema: You ready?

Me: Just do it.

Short Period Time Skip.....

Me: Thanks Nema.

Nema: No problem.

I got off the bed and ripped off all the bandages. Unlocking the door, I ran out and hugged Lance.

Lance: Ready to go?

Me: Hell yes.

Grabbing is hand and pulling him out of there with Nema following, we went back to my place. There I informed my sister's what was going on and what was going to happen.

Alice: So his name is executive Proton?

Me: Yes, there are four executives in total: Proton, Petrel, Araina, and Archer.

Mavis: And you just plan to go out there by yourself and ambush all of them?

Me: Yes, if I run into any trouble, I'll be sure to call you Lance.

Lance: Good, because I was about-

Me: To say that you won't let me go unless I call you when I need you?

Lance: Precisely. 

Sitting down on one of the hard chairs in the kitchen, I groaned in frustration and rubbed the back of my head.

Me: But how am I supposed to know where they are?

Scarlet: Well........... Why don't you go and ask him?

Lance: Him? Who is "him"?

Me: Oh, no I couldn't. I don't know where he is.

Lance: Who is "Him"?

Scarlet: On the top of Mt. Silver.

Lance: Who is "Him"?! And how can this guy help us.

Me: I don't know yet, but tonight I'm going to find him.

Mavis: You're really gonna do it?

Me: Yes, tonight I look for my old buddy Red!

Alright a new mission! Operation: Code Red. Now, I just have to wait until dark.
