I enter a grand looking building, Elias and the lady, who turned out to be called Lady Christine in front of me. Elias could simply call her Aunt Christine, however it seemed to be unacceptable for me to do. But maybe she's his adopted aunt.

Lady Christine turns to Elias, "I haven't catered for a human and I think some people may grow rather hungry... I have some food, but only what my servants recieve."

"Don't worry, I shall guard her myself. That's the reason she's come with me, after all."

Lady Christine tilts her head, looking at me, her eyes wide, "Oh? Is that so? Why, I'll protect her myself this evening!"

I flinch at the idea of that. I'm not that fond of her and I have a feeling she strongly dislikes me. I wonder why.

"Aunt Christine, I think it would be better if I protected her. I have a feeling she'd feel more comfortable," Elias argues, filling me with rekief, however Christine protests, "No! We shall become great friends!"

Elias sighs, making me wonder what that means. Is he hoping to win me over? Hopefully not and I need to show him that.

I smile at Lady Christine, beginning to walk off with her, quickly throwing him a smirk. Elias looks truely fed up and I'm left thinking that I've put him in his place.

We head up a grand marble staircase, that makes me question how exquisite my room shall be. The house makes Lady Christine's title make perfect sense.

At last we arrive in a beautiful room with a double bed, a fireplace in front of which there's an armchair, a closet out of a light coloured wood and a wooden chair at a desk.

"Wow...", I can't help mumbling as I see the gorgeous room, "It's perfect."

"I'm glad you think so. But now there's something that I have to make clear. Elias will marry my daughter and I will personally kill anybody who gets in the way of that. Have I made myself clear?", Lady Christine asks, looking into my eyes with a cold stare.

"I have a boyfriend who I'm calling tonight. I don't want Elias's love," I reply, trying to sound casual.

"Oh? Is that so? Then why are you here?!", she snarls, smirking, sure that she has caught me out now.

"A vampire is chasing me. Elias himself said that the reason I'm here is protection. And I doubt he'll know thst his Aunt would kill somebody he cared about a lot!", I snap, soon after that, realising that I'd just been rude to an aristocratic vampire. That's not something you do every day.

Lady Christine gives me a dark glare before leaving the room and stopping outside. I pull out my phone and quickly send Jeremy a text, asking whether he could talk now. After six minutes I recieved a one word confirmation.

I opened the contacts app, scrolling down to J. Soon I find him and press phone. The phone begins to beep as it always does waiting for an answer, however it doesn't take long to hear Jeremy's voice.

"Sapphire! What happened?! What the hell do you mean with vampires! Wha-", Jeremy frenetically says.

"Ssh," I interrupt, smiling, "One thing at a time."

~~~
"Wow...", he mumbles, before raising his voice, "It can't be a vanpire though..."
"I... I don't know... But... When he looked at me... I felt cold and uncomfortable...", I explain, "And he was about to sink his teeth in my neck."
Then Jeremy makes a valid point, "You don't feel cold around Elias. Are you sure he's not just a kidnapper?"
"True. But his Aunt seemed to genuinely hate me and gave me a death threat, so... Yeah."
Jeremy sighs, before confessing, "Tracey punched me in the stomach today. She says it's my fault that you've gone back..."
"No, you did the right thing. You just can't protect me as well as he can. I'm a threat to all of you. But when the vamp is dead, I'm coming back home," I smile.
"Sapphire. Doesn't it seem odd that Elias would help you without demanding something in return?", Jeremy thoughtfully asks.
"No, not really. He's a nice guy," I respond with, not concerned at all.
Jeremy sighs, "This doesn't make sense. I don't get why you went back..."
I frown, tired of this, "Because of protection! Also, I was putting all of you in danger!"
"But you went back to the person who left you traumatised...", Jeremy mutters, before saying, "I need to go! Bye. I love you!"
Before I can say anything else he hangs up and I sigh. I lie on the bed looking at the ceiling.
A while later Elias enters with some food. I tightly smile and he sits on the edge of the bed.
"I'm sorry... I... I have a confession to make..."
