Chapter 13

"We are so freaking lame and boring you know that" Hilary- one of our friends from school- said as we sat together causing all of us to laugh in agreement.

"I was thinking the same thing" Wanda another one of our friend chuckled "We're at a wild college party yet here we are sitting down in a corner sipping on lame cheap drinks and watching everyone else having the time of their lives"

"I don't know about you guys but I'm actually enjoying myself too just by sitting here, chatting with y'all" I said to them as I took a sip from my drink.

"Yeah, me too. And I mean its super weird but I'm kinda having fun without being out there acting wild" Kim agreed "And you guys know that this is so unlike me, its like I've been converted into a whole new woman or something"

"That you've been. You and Morgan are like totally different persons since lately" Hilary said.

"What? What do you mean?" I asked confused "Reminder... I was always the boring one while Kim here was the one always willing to take a walk on the wild side"

"You're right. And it seems like you've rubbed off on Kim and then you just became more boring" Wanda laughed as I tossed a peanut at her.

"Yeah, what's up with you two? Usually this would be more like Kim's scene and now you're here hiding in the shadows with us. Usually you'd be out there dancing with some guy, and there is no way you would be sitting here like this and not even trying to get the rest of us off our lazy boring asses and on the dance floor" Hilary chuckled "Did my girl become a saint now?"

"Not exactly, Morgan's the total saint..." Kim pointed at me chuckling.

"I'm not" I playfully swat her hand away.

"But you're always acting like one. Me- well I've just decided to become more mature and responsible now that I'm a happily married woman" Kim laughed "There are just certain things I can't be seen doing in public anymore so I'm leaving the wild life behind girls"

"Say what now!?"

"Girl you've been holding out on us. Spill, we want details"

Hilary and Wanda said excitedly.

"Well as you already know so far, I've been dating this new guy for a couple months now and its actually serious this time. So there are certain behaviour I can no longer display because I'm sure he wouldn't approved and I'm not risking messing things up, so I'm totally okay with giving up the wild life and becoming a saint like Morgan" Kim chuckled"

"You guys seriously need to lay of my case now" I said rolling my eyes at them.

Couple days later

"I've had one of the worst days today" I told Sean over the phone as I lay in bed.

"How come?" Sean asked.

"Well I had a test today and I just wasn't prepared enough and in addition to that I had this awful headache so I could hardly concentrate. I'm positive that I'm not getting a good grade on this one" I said to him "And I'm just feeling a bit down ever since"

"Baby, are you okay now? Do you still have that headache?" Sean asked me.

"No, I'm okay now. I took two ibuprofens" I responded.

"Oh, well that's good. I'm glad you're feeling better. You just have to hope for the best and be confident that even though you weren't well, you did your best" Sean encouraged "Don't stress okay, you'll do great"
