“Ughh…” I say, yawning, Its light in my bedroom, I rest my head on my pillow, going back to sleep.

Wait a second….

I open my eyes to see that it’s light outside, the birds are chirping and I’m…. wet?

I’m on a trampoline.

I’m on Lucy’s trampoline.

I’m in Lucy’s backyard.

That means… that the pillow which I’ve been resting on…

Is Liam.

Oh No.

I mean, I like cuddling up with Liam, but what will my mother think?

Wait a second, It’s a Tuesday.

Which means last night was a Monday, the one day a week that my Mum’s not home.

I am so lucky.

“Liam?” I murmur.

Wait, Today’s Tuesday.

Tuesday is a school day.

Damn.

“Liam!” I say, a little louder.

He opens his eyes slowly and when he sees me he smiles.

“Hi.” He says, the smile spreading across his face.

“Hey.” I say, grinning.

“Why are we on a trampoline?” he asks, rubbing his eyes.

“We kind of… fell asleep, yesterday.”

“Oh..” he says, yawning sleepily.

“Hey, Do you know what time it is?”

He checks his watch.

“8:15. Why?”

“Oh No!” I say, getting up quickly and jumping of the trampoline.

“Why? What’s wrong?” he says, following me.

“I have school.”

“Can’t you stay here?” he asks, slipping his arms around my waist.

“No.” I say, laughing. “As much I hate it, School is important.”

He smiles. “Aww… You’re laugh is so cute.”

I roll my eyes. “It’s not working.”

“What isn’t?” he asks innocently.

“You’re trying to get me to stay.”

“Guilty as charged.”

I laugh, and then remember I only have thirty minutes to have breakfast, make lunch, brush my hair, have a shower and change into clean clothes.
