Diego nodded his head along with the beat that was playing in the studio. The process of trying to make a beat that he liked enough to write something with was something he hated. The idea that he might like it but not his fans was all he could really think about. The only people that were even in the studio with him were Marcus and Lucas, a guy who had recently started to hang out with them. Security guards stood outside the studio door, in case any fans got any kind of ideas. (It happened before, it wasn't pretty.)

"Someone hit up Steven. I need em here." Diego said loud enough that he could be heard. The beat that was playing had stopped and all that could be heard was Marcus who was busy eating a bag of chips. Lucas, who was still trying to get accepted by Diego, was the first one to stand and grab his phone. Fully determined to get Steven into the studio with them. Marcus looked up at Diego as he finished his bag of chips.

"He won't come, he had the day planned out with Monica. First time just them two." Marcus said as he crushed up the bag of chips into a ball so he could throw it into the trash can.

Before Diego could ask who they had left Leo with a knock was heard. Marcus stood up and made his way over the door, Diego watched as he opened it and Grace appeared. He couldn't help but roll his eyes. The last time Grace and Diego were in the same room together they got in a fight. A huge one at that, he had called her a bitch and she had called him a stupid rapper along with a few other words that surprised Diego.

Grace walked into the studio with two bags of Chinese takeout. Diego couldn't help but lick his lips, the food smelled amazing. It was 10 pm and all three of them had completely forgotten to eat. They were all too focused on the music. "I brought food. Figured you guys haven't ate." She said as she placed everything on the coffee table that was in the middle of the room.

"Are you staying?" Marcus asked his girlfriend as he ripped open a bag. Grace pushed away a strand of hair that was on her face as she shook her head no. "Can't baby. I have to go." She replied quickly as she gave Marcus a quick kiss on the lips and headed out the door. Diego sat back with confusion. It was so unlike Grace to not say anything to him about how much of an ass he was. It was an everyday thing, she hated him, he hated her. It was how the world worked.

"What was that all about?" Diego asked as he joined Marcus and Lucas. Both of the guys had already started stuffing their faces with noodles and chicken. Marcus looked Diego as if asking him what he meant. Diego rolled his eyes and grabbed a fork, picking up the fried rice. "She left hella fast. She on her period or some shit?" Diego questioned as he opened up the takeout box. Marcus rolled his eyes at Diego's stupid question."She just hates you." Marcus simply said and any other day Diego would've believed that but he knew Grace would've stayed if she had really wanted to. She had done so, so many times before.

"Nah, it's not that." Diego replied "Maybe she's cheating on you." Diego teased which wasn't a good idea. Cheating was a sensitive topic to Marcus and he had obviously forgotten that. "Fuck you, she left because Penelope's in town and they have some big shit planned tomorrow." Marcus wasn't suppose to say anything. Everyone had taken it upon themselves to never mention Penelope to Diego, who would get upset every time someone mentioned her. She had broken his heart and he was still trying to put all the pieces back together again.

"Who's Penelope?" Lucas asked as he looked back and forth from Marcus and Diego. Marcus didn't answer as he continued to eat his food in silence, still upset at Diego for saying that Grace was cheating on him. Both of the guys ignored Lucas's question.
