A few days later the whole family gathered in the hospital waiting for the birth of MaryBeth's baby. Everyone stood anxiously looking at the light above the delivery room , the light will indicate when the little bundle of joy would have come into the world .
Emily was the first to shout out in joy when the blue light lit up!
" It's a boy... finally a man in the family!", Mr. Parks said out loud.
They hugged each other and it was then that Samantha noticed the ring on Emily's finger.
She touched her mother lightly on her shoulder and pointed towards the ring.
Emily saw them looking and she smiled , she held up her hand and said " I said yes!".
Her parents and her sister looked at each other , they were all in shock, then Samantha and her mother said excitedly at the same time , " She Said Yes!".
