Ada's POV

"Hey Charley, What's up?" Coming closer to her I can see small tears running down her cheeks. "Little mental breakdown." She said sniffling and shoving a spoon of Ice in her mouth. "Come on Char, tell me." I sat on the counter next to her. "I have a crush on an older girl, she has a girlfriend and I don't want to interfere with their relationship. They had a fight and she came to me saying something like I'm would be the only one she could be herself with and I'm a really good friend to her." She sniffled again. "Why am I even telling you this shit?" She laughed dryly. "Anyways, at some time we ended up kissing and it was... I don't know.... Magical? It's just so pathetic because she said she's sorry she can't leave her girlfriend but she would like to keep me as a friend." "I'm sorry Char, but if she's really that stupid to not see you, then she doesn't deserve you." I hug her tightly. "Sure, it wouldn't work out anyways, with me only being fourteen." "Charley age doesn't really matter, well except for these sixty-year-old guys and their 18-year-old girlfriends, that's just gross. But Charley love doesn't know age or gender, religion or race, and I'm sure you'll find the right one." She chuckled lightly. "Yeah, sure." She hopped off the counter and placed the empty bowl in the sink, before leaving the room and answering her ringing phone. Poor Charley. She's in love for the first time and it just had to be fucked up like that. I shook my thoughts out of my head and start making the food. Citrus oven chicken with grilled potatoes. In the middle of cooking Eve called me so that I completely forgot about the chicken. "Shit." I exclaimed and quickly ended the call, while trying to save my food. Thankfully it wasn't too burned so I managed to make it look eatable. The rest of the evening was just the usual. Eating dinner with my family, doing my homework and then going to bed.

When I woke up the next morning I had this feeling again. By now I'm used to this feeling, but in the beginning, it was really confusing. I have found a few things to make it better. A few tricks to make me feel nearly normal again. I know this is not how it feels for everyone or what others do who have the same feeling. But this is how I feel and what I do about/against it. I got out of bed, ignoring all the mirrors on my way. I got undressed and took a shower, without looking at my body. I'm not going to look at me. I'll just bring back temporary frustration and depression. It'll trigger something, bring back my old demons. I really don't want to reopen the thin lines on my arms. Having a towel wrapped around the lower part of my body I walked back into my room. First thing I do is put on my binder before I finally looked down my now flat chest over the abs on my stomach, releasing a sigh of relieve. I felt more like myself again. Putting on my 3 in 1 strap on that you can comfortably wear in your daily live. I went down to the kitchen after butting on my black ripped jeans and a black Asking Alexandria shirt. I sat down at the counter with a bowl of captain crunch. "Good Morning Adam." Sarah smiled. I groaned. "Just because I told you yesterday that Eve calls me Adam you don't have to call me that." She shrugged. "I just thought it would fit the guy you." "It really fits you." Ally said sitting down next to me and eating a PB and J sandwich. "It does not fit me. It's stupid." I tried to argue even though I know that it does fit me. I don't want them to call me Adam. Eve is the only one I don't mind calling me Adam. "You don't have a say in this. And hey, can you take me to school today? I don't feel like driving." "Ugh, when I take you to school that means I also have to give Charley a ride, because she usually rides with you." I groan, I wanted to pick up Jenna and Eve today, since Isabel probably wouldn't give them a ride today. "No, you won't, she left the house pretty early this morning, saying a friend of her had a problem and needed someone to talk." Sarah said, "so Adam be a good brother and give your little sister a ride." I shook my head. "Be ready in five or I'll leave without you, we have to pick up some friends of mine." I walked up to my room picking up my backpack while calling Jenna. As I waited for Jenna to pick up I walked over to the bathroom brush my teeth. "Ada?" I winced, good I'll admit it. On days like this I definitely prefer Adam. "Yeah Kind of." I chuckled at my response. "Oh, hey A." Yes, that nickname is okay as well, it doesn't rally sound like a girl. Ada is way to girly. "I just called to say that I'll pick up you and Eve, and I wanted to ask you if you could tell Eve?" "I thought Isabel would give us a ride, as usual?" "Yeah well, I wouldn't be so sure on that today... or in the near future." "Oh," She finally understood. "Yeah, I'll tell Eve, see you in a bit." She hung up and I finally brushed my teeth as fast as I could. When I walked down, Ally already waited at the door. "Come on, we're already late." "I'm not the one who is taking years." I ignore her and walk over to the garage, deciding it would be better to take Sam's car, since it would be difficult to fit four people in my car. Well, not necessarily difficult but definitely uncomfortable. I already have the keys so I just opened her car and threw my backpack in the trunk. "Why are we taking Sam's car?" "I don't know. Do you want to sit in the back of my car with Jenna?" Her eyes widened when I mentioned my best friend. I knew Ally had a small crush on Jenna since that dinner. I can't blame her, Jenna is gorgeous. "Tall", well taller than Ally, slender figure with curves just at the right places, long wavy brown hair, and the most beautiful cinnamon brown eyes. If Jenna wasn't my best friend, I'd definitely try to date her. But I only see her as a sister. "Let's just go." She said sliding into the car. I started driving over to Jenna's house picking her up before we went over to Eve's. "Hey Jenna." I greeted. "Hi A, Hey Ally." I looked over at Ally raising my eyebrow at her as she doesn't respond. I could practically see her panic as she tried to find a response. This is definitely not the Ally I know. She's usually cool, always sarcastic and she definitely always knows what to say. After a bit, she opened her mouth as she realised she hasn't said anything yet. "Ugh... H-hey Jen." Jenna rolled her eyes. "Nothing against you, but please don't call me Jen." Ally had a confused and hurt look in her eyes, she didn't know what she did wrong. "Ally, it really has nothing to do with you." I said and Jenna quickly tried to explain herself. "Yeah, sorry, look it's just... ugh..." Jenna didn't know how to say it or if she should say the truth. "It's just that one of her mothers is called Jenna as well and when she was four they decided to call her Jenna and her mother Jen so that everyone knew who they talked about." I explained, it really wasn't that hard to understand. "Oh, I'm sorry Jenna." Ally quickly apologised. "If you don't mind me asking, but why do you have the same name as your mother?" Jenna laughed, that's the question everyone asks when they find out about Jen. "Well that's a pretty personal question, but I'll answer you, since you are my best friend's sister." Jenna stopped and waited till Eve got in the car since we just arrived at house. Eve was waiting in front of the door and quickly got in. "Hey guys." "Hey Eve." Jenna and I greeted. "Eve, this is my little sister Ally, Ally this is my friend Eve." I introduced and after the said their hello's, Ally turned he attention back to Jenna as I started driving to school. "Okay so way back in High school Tay, my mom, and Jen used to be a couple, but they kept their relationship a secret due to homophobic people in their hometown in the state of New York. When Jen was 16 her family moved back to Australia and they broke up. Tay was heartbroken so she went to that party and hooked up with some guy named Alex. She got pregnant and decided to call the child Jenna, named after her one true love who she thought she'd never see again. After I was born her band was discovered by a label and they had their first tour. For the first four years of my life I was on tour with my mother and her band. The last tour that mom took me with her, they supported some band called "All time low". Tay hasn't seen or talked to Alex since that party so she didn't know that he was the lead singer of that band. There was another band on tour with them, and what made the situation even more awkward than it already was, that was Jen's band. So that is where the drama started, but that doesn't matter, all that matters is that I have my two moms and that we are a happy family." Jenna rushed the end, because we already reached the school. "Aww, that's so cute." Jenna rolled her eyes again, she seemed to do that a lot. We all got out of the car and headed into the school. "See you later." Ally rushed away. "I'll go to my locker and I have to talk to my dance teacher before first lesson." Jenna left me alone with Eve. "How are you?" I asked leading her to my locker first. "I'm fine, really. Better than I thought. Thank you, Adam." I smiled at her. "Well, I'm glad you're okay and that I could help a bit. Even though it might have cost me my career as a professional basketball player." Not that I ever planned on becoming that. I put my backpack into my locker taking out the books and stuff that I need for the first lessons. We start walking to her locker. "Why?" She asked curiously. "Well my mom found out we skipped classes and since that wasn't the first time that I acted out she took me off the basketball team and put me into the classical music class." "I'm sorry." She said, before a grin spread over her face. "But I'm sure you'll have fun in that class." "Hmm, lots of fun." I said before I started walking to homeroom. "Hey you already forgot who the teacher of that class is?" "No, but you have no idea how Chrissy is as a teacher. I swear that chick is two persons in one. One moment she is the cool lesbian best friend, and the next she is the really bitchy teacher. She's sassy, she hates it when you talk back at her, or talk in general, and oh god forbid you hit the wrong note while playing Mozart. She'll kill you, literally. Sounds like a lot of fun to me." We entered the classroom talking through the whole class about everything and nothing, until we had to go separate ways to get to out next class.

Eve's POV:

I was surprised when I got the call from Jenna telling me Adam would pick us up. But... to be honest... I'm glad and thankful that he did it. I could tell that Isabel had been home for the night, sleeping on the couch, but she left really early. Before I got up. I didn't feel like walking to school, I mean it's not far away but it's December. This is our last week of school before the holidays. I don't know what to do. My parents will be gone, somewhere celebrating Christmas with some old friends and I'll be alone with Isabel. I got her a present but after everything that happened over the last month I don't think we'll have a lovey dovey Christmas evening. I just hope this last week of school is going to be over soon. I'm sitting at the lunch table alone waiting for Adam and Jenna. They just entered the cafeteria and it looked as if they were in the middle of an argument. When they were close enough I could hear a bit before Jenna stopped talking. "... You can't keep lying to her. I can't keep lying, tell her that..." Tell who what? Why can't she finish her sentence? To whom is Adam lying? And about what? "Hey Eve" Jenna greeted me sitting in front of me. "Hey" Adam sat down next to me kissing my cheek which caused me to blush. What is wrong with me? He's just some guy. 'Yeah that's exactly the problem, he's a guy, if he were a girl you would have already asked him out' the sarcastic part of my mind started discussing 'shut up I wouldn't have done that I have, well probably had, a girlfriend. No matter what Isabel is accusing me of I wouldn't cheat on her. Or anyone, you just don't do that' I could see Jenna glaring at Adam, trying to tell him something through her eyes. "Are you two having a fight?" I asked curious of why they are acting so strange. "No, Adam and I just have a little disagreement." Jenna said with a strange tone on "Adam". "God Jenna, can you just let it be? She'll figure it out." Adam said sounding angry. "Yeah, I'm sure she will, and then you'll lose her. She hate's liars, god, everyone hates liars, but she trusts you, I can see that, and she doesn't trust everyone, and when she finds out that you've been lying to her since the start she'll hate you and she'll never talk to you again. But if you explain to her why you did it, she'll..." "Hate me anyways because I lied to her. Maybe I just want to keep her as a friend as long as I can, and enjoy the time I have. I fucked up in the beginning, I made a wrong decision and there is no turning back, so leave me the fuck alone." Adam interrupted her. "Wow, Adam calm down." Ally said sitting down next to Jenna. "What do you want here?" Adam asked her with a strange tone. What is up with him today? "I just want to spend time with my big brother, is there anything wrong with that?" "Then go over to Alex, I'm sure he'd like to spend time with you." "Yeah but he's over there with his asshole band mates, and that other friend of his that is hitting on me. He just doesn't get that I'm a full-blown lesbian." Adam sighed giving up. "You won't leave, will you?" "Nope." Ally turned over to Jenna and they started a conversation about music. Apparently, Ally was here because she was extremely talented at playing every instrument she wants. So, they talked about what music was best for what kind of dance. Adam and I talked about something but I forgot everything about it when I saw Isabel and a small girl entering the cafeteria. The hugged and the girl got on her toes to whisper something in her ear. I probably should feel jealous but I only felt disappointed. We had an agreement to tell each other everything, yet she didn't tell me she had feelings for someone else. Instead she blamed me. I think it's finally over between us. Not just a break. The girl gave Isabel a sad smile before turning around and heading outside her long, curly red hair bouncing over her shoulders. She's pretty. I can tell that even though I haven't been close to her. "Hey, are you okay?" I nodded, still staring at the now closed door where the girl disappeared. Adam turned around but he obviously couldn't see her. "I can't believe she really cheated on me." I mumbled. "Huh?" Ally looked confused. "We don't know that Eve." Adam tried to convince me. "Adam, I saw her and some red-haired chick...." "Wait, describe what you saw." Adam interrupted me. I sighed. "She came in with a girl. Small, long curly red hair, they hugged and it wasn't just friendly. Then the girl whispered something into Isabel's ear before leaving." Ally and Adam looked at each other shock written over their faces. "No Ally, she wouldn't do that" Adam exclaimed. Is he defending Isabel? "Not intentionally, but what if she doesn't know?" Who are they talking about? "If it's true, then she knows, she told me something like that yesterday, but she didn't say who, and she said they're just friends. For all we know we could be completely wrong about this." I was completely confused by now. "Who and what are you guys talking about?" "I can't tell you, yet. I swear I will tell you as soon as I'm sure about this. But if I'm right, I want to ask you that you please won't blame the girl, she didn't do anything wrong. If it is really her than I can assure you that she did anything to try and fight those feelings. She never wanted to hurt you." Who the hell is he talking about? And why should I blame her? Isabel is the one with the girlfriend. Isabel is the one cheating. And I'm pretty sure, that Isabel was the one initiating anything between these two. "I'm sorry Eve, I got to go, see you guys after school." Adam got up and left the room quickly even though lunch break wasn't over for another fifteen minutes.
