Ada's POV

"Ada get your ass up we've got a lot of planning to do" Jenna's voice ripped me out of my dream. "Oh, and Sarah said you're on breakfast duty, so get your ass up and make me some breakfast." I groaned turning around. "Go and bother Ally or something, just let me sleep." "I've done that all night, now we have to plan valentine's day dates for tomorrow." "We can still do that later." I mumbled not even registering what she said. "No, we can't, now put on a shirt and get your ass up." With that she threw a shirt at my face. I groaned, sitting up and pulling the shirt over my head. "Good, now go and make me some breakfast." She grabbed my hand and pulled me down the stairs. "What even are you doing here?" "I stayed over." "What?" "I slept in your sisters' room." "Why?" "Maybe your sister and I finally got our shit together." She said shrugging. "Yay," I squealed and hugged her, picking her up and caring her down the stairs. "Wow chill." Jenna laughed, begging me to put her down. I did as told and walked into the kitchen, where I found a post it note on the fridge. "Good morning Ada, since you decided to ignore the 12 a.m. curfew again, you have breakfast duty for the next three weeks. Sarah." I opened the fridge pulling out eggs, milk and some bacon. "What the hell is that for?" Jenna said, pulling a disgusted face. "Not for you of course." I pulled out other ingredients from the shelves and started preparing some scrambled eggs and pancakes with fried bacon for Ally, Alex and myself. Then I used the other ingredients to make Jenna something that her mom Jen taught me back in 7th grade. I served Jenna her so-called 'Zen' quinoa bowl. It's tofu, a heap of veggies, avocado, and quinoa, all jazzed up with a handful of spices. Then I made a simple cucumber avocado toast for Charley since she always claims to not be hungry. When I finished with that I grabbed a plate with the pancakes, eggs and bacon and sat down next to Jenna. "Tell me everything." I demanded, already digging into my food. "Well, basically I chased her around school, we argued, we kissed, we went home and cuddled until we fell asleep." Jenna said before she began shoving her quinoa bowl into her mouth to avoid explaining more details. I smiled, "So you guys kissed. How was it?" Jenna swallowed. "Uhm...it was..." "magical" Ally said wrapping her arms around Jenna's waist, kissing her cheek. "Morning beautiful." Jenna smiled and blushed. "Morning honey" she mumbled. "I thought you were already gone when you weren't beside me." Ally sulked. "Nah, I was just forcing Ada to make us breakfast." "Nice" Ally grinned, grabbing herself a plate. "So...you two finally got together?" I arched my eyebrow. "Something like that. We still need to make it official, but..." "I'm already planning something." Jenna turned around to Ally. "Do you wanna be my Valentine tomorrow?" Ally blushed. "I would love to." They both smiled at each other, then Jenna turned back to me. "Good, now get your ass ready, we got a lot of planning and organizing to do." Jenna jumped up. "You already said that like a hundred times." I said, continuing to stuff my face with pancakes. "I know." Jenna turned to Ally, "I'm stealing one of your shirts." She kissed Ally's cheek and ran up the stairs. I groaned, grabbing her plate and putting both out dishes in the dish washer. "So, you're going on a Valentines date with Eve?" "Apparently. Guess I didn't have a choice." "Don't pretend that you don't want it." "I do, I just forgot that it's already the 13th." "Well then you should do as Jenna told you and start planning." "I already have an idea." I grinned going up the stairs as Charley walked down. "Hey Char, can I have your car tomorrow?" "Sure, it's not like I'd need it." She said neutral walking past me. "Thanks, oh and there's breakfast for you in the kitchen." "thanks" she mumbled. Fuck, I should really talk with Charley soon. But not now, I don't really know what to say. I quickly got dressed and did my bathroom routine before going back down. There I found Jenna and Ally flirting in the kitchen. Charley was nowhere in sight. "Come on lovebird, we have to go organize and shit." Jenna kissed Ally and said goodbye, before she followed me to the car. "So where do you wanna go?" I asked, deciding to finish her plans first.

Eve's POV

"What the fuck am I supposed to wear?" I screamed at my closet. I've been standing here for solid 40 minutes trying to find something to wear for my Date with Ada tonight. She randomly showed upon my doorstep yesterday, kneeled down, pulled out some bouquet of flowers and asked me to be her Valentine. Of course I said yes. But now I'm standing here trying to find an outfit that is casual, but also formal enough for a date, as well as sexy but not slutty but also brings her to want me. It didn't help that Ada refused to tell me where we are going. "Sweetie, why are you screaming at your closet?" My Dad entered the room. "I have a date tonight and there is nothing to wear in this closet." I said frustrated. "Who is the lucky girl who gets to go out with you on Valentines day?" "Her name is Ada, she's really sweet and I think I'm the one who got lucky." "Can I meet this Ada girl?" "She'll pick me up later, you can meet her, but promise me to let her live?" "Can't promise anything, but I'll help you with that clothing situation. Why don't you go take a shower and I'll go find a nice outfit for you?" "Thanks Dad." I kissed his cheek and went into my bathroom. My Dad works for a fashion magazine, he used to be a photographer for National Geographic's but the traveling interfered with our family life on too many occasions. When I got out of the shower I found a nice red dress and black leather jacket on my bed as well as a new pair of fishnets. I got dressed, let my hair hang down in wild curls and put on some make up. Just when I put away my eyeliner I could hear the doorbell ring downstairs. I went down, but I already heard my father leading Ada into the living room. "So ... Ada, right?" He paused, and I guess Ada just nodded nervously. "Tell me, what are your plans for tonight?" "I'm planning to give your daughter a nice time during our date, with some fun parts, that will hopefully make her laugh and I hope she'll have a good night." I smiled, she knew that I was around somewhere and tried to keep her plans as secret as possible but still give my father an answer. "And what are your plans with my daughter?" "At the moment to make her happy for as long as I can. I would love for her to be my girlfriend or even marry her one day, but that will be up to her. If I can't make her happy and she'd be happier without me than so be it. If she wants us to just be friends then that's okay. But if I know that I can make her happy I'll fight for her against everyone and everything that is trying to come between us." "What are you planning to do in the future? Are you planning to go to University?" "Yes. I'm planning to go to UCLA but I also have some offers from other colleges. I'm currently planning to study game design and play basketball for the university team, but I'm also considering to study culinary arts, the only problem. Country for a while and I'm not sure if I could do that." "What about your parents?" "What exactly do you want to know? What they're doing? Or if they accept me?" "Whatever you're willing to tell me." "Well my biological Parents kicked me out a while ago, but I found a loving new family. My mom Sarah is the principal of our school and she loves and accepts me and my siblings just the way we are." My Dad was silent for a while and I could feel him already searching for a new question. He always does that when I'm dating someone new. Isabel barely got through his test and now that I know she's been lying I'm pretty sure she'd have actually failed it. "Sir, I appreciate you caring about your daughter, not many fathers do this nowadays, but I can assure you that I won't do anything against her will or anything to hurt her. Yes, I've made mistakes in my life and I've made mistakes with your daughter, but I will do everything I can to not do that again. I'd love to continue this conversation, but right now I would like to catch our reservation. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to invite you, your wife and your daughter over for dinner sometime, so we can continue this conversation." "That sounds lovely, I will discuss this with my wife and let you know when." I could hear them stand up and decided that it was time to enter the room. They shook hands and my father wished us a "good and fun" night. Ada smiled at me and whispered a shy "Hey" "Hi." I said back, we went outside and my father close the door behind us. "You look lovely." Ada said as she led me to the big pick-up truck. There was a tarp covering the bed of the truck, so I couldn't see what was there. "Thank you. You look beautiful too." I said, while she opened the door for me. She wore tight black pants with a white bottom up. "Thank you." She smiled, closing the door and hopping in on the other side. "So, whose car did you steal?" I asked getting comfortable in the leather bench. "Charley's" "How is she? I mean, since Isabel left." "Well, it hit her hard. She's pretty depressed lately and I just don't know how to help her. I mean she understands that Isabel has to do this, she just misses her a lot." She sighed. "Yeah, I kind of fell the same with Isabel. She misses Charley but she is determined to go through therapy before seeing or talking to her again. I can hear it in her voice that she's unhappy and I promised her to look after Charley but every time I see her she avoids me. But I can't get myself to tell Isabel. I feel like if she knows that Charley is suffering so much she'd come back and that wouldn't be good for her health." She nodded thoughtfully. "I'll talk to her next week and I don't know, maybe we'll find a way to help her." "Yeah.... anyway, you said we had a reservation to catch?" "Yep. And We're nearly there." "Where?" "Nope not gonna tell you." She shook her head. "So, you invited my mom and dad over for dinner?" "I guess." She shrugged as if it was the most normal thing to do. "Your mom is Japanese, right?" She asked while taking a turn. "Yeah, why do you ask?" "Well you said you're half German, half Japanese. And, no offence, but your Dad is the personification of the cliché German." She's right. My Dad is Tall with blond hair and blue eyes. Seriously give him some beer and a prezn and he'd be the perfect meme. "Also..." She pulled into a parking lot. "I choose a Japanese restaurant for tonight." She smiled sheepishly. I looked at the restaurant in front of us. "Tokyo" was written above the door in bold red letters. "We're eating sushi?" I asked her excitedly. She nodded and got out of the car, opening the door for me. "I haven't had sushi in ages." We walked into the restaurant together and got seated at a small table near the window. We ordered the Valentines special just to be extra cheesy. They brought us big plates with sushi formed into small hearts and rose petals as decoration. The salmon and tuna sushi spelled out the word love. "Wow this looks beautiful." "Just as beautiful as you." Ada smiled at me. "Well that was smooth." I laughed. "Thanks, I try my best." We ate our sushi with mild conversation in between. It was a really nice dinner. We laughed and talked about our childhood and future ideas and just stuff. She looked at her watch and seemed to realize that it was already getting late. "We should better get going or we'll miss our next activity." "Oh, you got more planned? I thought this couldn't get any better." I smiled at her. "I hope that it is getting better." She said and payed for our dinner before leaving the restaurant. She opened the door of the truck for me and smiled at me while closing the door behind me. She drove out of town to the big parking lot of the amusement park. "What are we doing here? The park is closed during the winter season." "I know." She smirked. "But they are having an event tonight." She payed the fee at the entrance and drove onto the parking lot. "So what kind of Event is this?" "It's a drive-in cinema. They build up a screen and there's a movie every Saturday during the winter when the park is closed. Today they're having a screening of Deadpool." "OMG. I really wanted to see that movie but nobody wanted to go with me." "You never asked me, though." She laughed lightly. "True. I must have given up before I could ask you." "Well I'm glad you like my choice of movie. You wanna lay down?" "How? Where?" She pointed to the bed of the truck. "I placed some pillows and blankets there." She smiled and we got out of the car to climb up on the bed after she pulled of the tarp that was covering it. There were blankets and pillows everywhere and it looked so comfy. I just wanted to jump in and burry myself in all the cuddly pillows. "This is so awesome." I squealed and dove into the pillows. I could hear Ada laugh behind me as she joined me. We cuddled up into the pillows and blankets and I rested my head on Ada's shoulder just as the movie started. I t was so nice to just lie in her arms. I felt so save and warm as if she could protect me from everything. I never wanted to leave her arms. I haven't watched half of the movie since I spend most of the time looking up at Ada and listening to her heart beat and her laugh which vibrated through her chest whenever Wayne did something funny. I was still looking up at her face when suddenly she caught my eyes. "You're missing the movie." She grinned. "I found something better." I smiled up at her. "And what is that?" "An Angel." I whispered. She looked behind herself and then back at me. "Where?" "There" I said pointing to her "I'm no Angel." She said shaking her head. "You sure look like one." I said studying her face. Her electric blue eyes, the long beautiful nose, her defined sharp chaw line and those lips that I wanted to kiss again. I could feel her eyes travel over my face and stop at my lips. "I think you are the Angel." She whispered. I bit down on my lower lip. Was it too soon to kiss her? Stupid thoughts, you kissed her on the first date. I really wanted to. I could feel myself leaning up and she leaned down as well. I could feel her breath brushing my lips and the anticipation prickling up my spine. I leaned in those missing inches and my lips touched hers. The kiss was slow and caring. Ada placed her hand on the side of my face and I laid mine onto her stomach to hold me up a bit. Slowly our lips moved with each other's and I could feel her tongue glide along my lips so I opened up and let her in. Our tongues slowly battled for dominance but she clearly won just before we pulled away to catch our breath. "Wow." She whispered. "I didn't remember that it was this good." She said when she caught her breath. "I think you got better." I said jokingly. "I don't think you can get better without practice." She grinned. "Then you must be a natural." I grinned back. "Or you just got lucky. Come here I want to try again." I pulled her back down onto my lips. A small sigh escaped my lips and she used the small space to glide her tongue into my mouth. This kiss was faster. It was heated, full of passion and an underlying lust. Ada grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me impossibly closer. After a while it got hard to breath so we had to pull back. I was now straddling Ada's waist and I smiled down at her while she was lying there with her eyes closed and a stupid grin on her lips. Damn those lips. "Nope, I think I'm a natural." She said opening her eyes again. I scoffed, "Yeah, sure." I let myself fall back onto the bed of the truck. I looked to the screen. "Look now I missed the ending because of you. Looks like we missed the ending because of you. So, I guess we have to go see the movie again." "As if you've seen any part of the movie." She grinned. "I saw the beginning and this Francis guy." "Yeah, sure, but the rest of the movie you were staring at something else." "It's not my fault that there was something way more interesting than Ryan Reynolds in a skintight red suit." "I'm pretty sure there is nothing more interesting than that except maybe Chris Evans in those tight blue suspenders." "Well I'd have said Scarlett Johansson in a tight black leather suit but ..." "OMG, you're so gay." "Yeah and you're so straight sometimes." "Oh, please nothing about me is straight." "Nothing except from your huge crush on Chris Evans." I said smirking. "Nah my attraction to him is very gay to be honest." She argued back. "You see I'm not attracted to him as a straight woman it's more like as a gay man." She said leaning back. "But you my friend, you are so gay for Scarlett Johansson." "Duh. I mean have you seen that body?" "Of course, I have, but she's not quite my type." "Lies. You don't have a type. Your type is girls." "No, I do have a type. It's innocent looking girls. Scarlett is way to badass for me." "I am not innocent looking." I said placing my hand on my hips to empathize my point. "Who said you were my type?" She grinned at me. "Well you did. A few times actually. Also, it nearly drove you crazy when I talked to other girls." I said grinning back at her. "How would you even know that?" "Well for example that one day you were crushing your Burger when I talked to Ash. You really thought I couldn't see you go all jealous over there?" "I...I...I didn't." "Oh yes you did." I said still with that huge grin. "But don't worry it was cute." I quickly kissed her lips and then pulled out my phone. "I'm sorry to cut this short but it'd be better for you to drive me home now. Or my dad might lose his trust in you." I could hear her groan. "Believe me I don't want to go but it's already getting late and we have school tomorrow." Ada got up and jumped off the bed before helping me down. She placed the tarp back over the bed and then opened the car door for me. We drove home listening to the music in the car. "I didn't know you listened to Paramore or L, R" "Uhm I don't actually. This is Charley's Mixtape. I like the music but I don't usually listen to them." "PVRIS isn't that different from them." "True, but I'm just too gay for Lynn." You're too gay for every girl." "True." "Have you even seen Alexa?" "Of course, she's Lynn's ex." "Then why don't you listen to her music." "I don't know, probs because I don't really know what happened between her and Lynn and I don't want to hurt Lynn." I shook my head and kept silent.

Ada's POV

I drove Eve home and she kept silent after our conversation. "I really enjoyed today." Her voice ripped me out of my thoughts. "So did I." I smiled at her before turning back to the street. "So, can I hope for another date?" "I'm pretty sure you can, yes. I mean, we'll have dinner with your parents and I invited you to come to that concert with us. But I'm pretty sure I'll ask you out again. Besides those dates." "I'd like that." She smiled at me. I pulled up to her driveway and got out of the car to open the door for her. I walked her up to the front door where she turned around to me. "So, I'll guess I'll see you tomorrow at school?" "Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing you again." "So do I." We smiled at each other. "Can I get another good night kiss?" She asked innocently, but I could see the smirk she's trying to hide. "Sure." I leaned in and captured her lips with my own. I let our lips dance for a few minutes and I could feel the butterflies erupt in my stomach. She placed her hand in my neck and I could feel this tingling sensation that I now realize comes from her touching me. After a while I pulled back and leaned my forehead against hers. "Goodnight Eve." "Good night Ada." I pecked her lips once more before I got back in the car and drove home with a big, goofy grin on my face. When I pulled in my driveway I could see Jenna's car parked in front of the house. I parked Charley's truck in the garage, then used the back door to get into the house. I glance at the clock in the hallway. Two minutes before 11 p.m. right on time. But I couldn't see Ally in the house. I walked up to the front door, where I could see a silhouette in front of the glass. I guess Ally and Jenna were still having a little fun, I glanced back at the clock, one minute. Ally and Jenna didn't look like they'd let go of each other soon. I quickly opened the door and Ally stumbled in backward pulling Jenna with her. They nearly fell to the floor but I was nice enough to catch Ally and hold them up while they untangled themselves. "Having fun, you two?" I asked with a raised eyebrow and a smirk. "Yeah, up until you decided to be a douche and destroy it." Ally glared at me. I pointed to the clock and counted down the last seconds till 11 p. m. Just then Sarah stepped out of her office at the other end of the Hallway. "I thought it was better me than her catching you not being home." "I was home." Ally argued back. "Not in her opinion. You were in front of the house." "Ada, Ally, right on time. Hello Jenna. Thank you for bringing her home on time." "No problem Miss Knight. Have a good night." "You too, Jenna." Jenna smiled at her, turned to Ally and whispered "Good night beautiful." "Night Babe." Ally whispered back and kissed her before Jenna left out of the door, running into Alex. "I'm sorry Mom, I fell asleep on the couch and then there was a small traffic jam because of some car accident." "You are excused, now let's go to bed we all have school tomorrow." We all went up the stairs and into our rooms. I undressed and laid down in my bra and shorts, before I quickly fell asleep, thinking of Eve.
