i walk up my steps ready to get out of my clothes and into some comfortable ones.
i grab emma's coffee slime merch hoodie on, and a pair of shorts, i throw my hair in a messy bun grabbing my glasses off my dresser placing them on my face.
(if you know the glasses emma wear sometimes those are the ones i'm referring too)
i go to my freezer grabbing some dairy free ice cream that grayson made me get, i get a spoon out of my drawer walking back to my couch playing stranger things.
after a couple of minutes i hear a knock on my door, i pick up my remote pausing the tv, i stand up putting the bowl in the sink.
the person knocks again harder this time, "i'm coming!" i say, i walk towards the door twisting the knob.
i open the door to see grayson in nike sweatpants and a sweatshirt soaked from the rain.
"what are you doing?" i ask moving out the way to let him in, "you're soaked." i say.
"i know." he says taking his hands out of his pockets, "some of your clothes are here do you want to change?" i ask.
"no. no, i'm fine." he sighs, "okay, um.." i say awkwardly, "i just wanted to talk." he says.
"okay." i say, "what about?" i add, "i just feel like i've been acting like a total dick." he shrugs.
"i guess i just don't understand why your mad at me for someone trying to kiss me." i say.
"well, i thought you had to play some part in it." he says, i furrow my eyebrows, "like how?" i ask crossing my arms.
"like you led him on or something?" he says more as a question, "are you serious?" i ask, he makes a face as if he's saying 'yeah'.
"your seriously mad at me for someone trying to kiss me when you have kissed other girls?" i ask.
"you act as if this is my fault and it's not." grayson says, "it's not my fault either, grayson." i say.
he looks down shaking his head, "i gotta go, emily." he says opening my door then shutting it.
i stand here in shock he just walked out on me like that again, i sigh going to sit back down on my couch.
i pick up my phone seeing it on instagram seeing a post of me.

i sigh clicking out of my instagram onto facetime calling my mom to rant and get her advice like i usually do. - i really wish i hadn't made them official yet. that would a good way to end the book-
