after getting dressed, i get in my car going to philz to get a coffee before heading to the office.

"hey." i smile walking into the office to see katie, "hey! i haven't seen you for a while." she says stacking papers.

"oh yeah. well, it's complicated." i laugh, she gives me a confused look for a couple of seconds before shrugging letting it go.

"don't forget about your interview with wired at four." she says as i nod.

"okay, i know it's short-term but we have to fly out to toronto for a couple of meetings up there." she says.

"what? when?" i ask stepping closer to her, "tomorrow." she says, "woah. how am i just now knowing this?" i say.

"i just figured out a couple of minutes ago too, but we have to go. we have like four meetings up there." she says.

"okay, with who?" i say, "just the usual." she shrugs. "what time do we leave? how long will we be there for?" i ask spilling questions out.

"slow down." she laughs, "you'll be fine. you'll be back to your boyfriend in a couple of days." she playfully rolls her eyes laughing turning around.

i look down awkwardly, "we'll leave tomorrow and eight am then leave the next day, so you'll be really busy." she says.

"okay." i sigh, "i'm gonna go home. i'll see you tomorrow." i say, "bye." she says.

home.

i sit on my couch staring at my phone thinking about if i should text grayson or not. he seems like he's been acting different lately, maybe he's tired of our relationship.

i pick up my phone to distract myself, i see emma just tweeted.
