Chapter 3 - Riley's Reaction

Lucas Friar was sitting in the Matthew's apartment keeping Auggie busy when they came in.
He read Riley's face and sighted.

"Very mad?" Lucas asked.
"She left at eight last night for Malibu. She isn't even near New York."

Riley was obviously upset but her parents not.

"I'm not surprised. You basically did ruin her life. Why did you do it?" Cory asked.
"I didn't want her going," Riley said.
"Where is she now?" Lucas asked.
"Nine hours from Grand Island," Topanga said.
"How can two people let a eighteen year old girl not just go out of a city but entirely out of a country? Malibu is in an entire different country maybe even a different state. That can't be safe," Lucas said.
"Stay with Lucas," Cory said and they were off.

"Are you out of your minds?" Cory asked as he barged into Shawn's house.
"What?" Shawn asked.
"How can you let Maya not just travel out of the city but out of the country as well?" Topanga asked.
"She's safe. Plus. She can protect herself," Katy said.
"You'll have to excuse us. We're on our way out," Shawn said.
"Let's hope she doesn't happen something," Cory said and everyone was off.
