Chapter 4 - Grand Island

It's early the next morning.
About six-thirty.
Maya is up and all ready.
She was loading her car when the receptionist came.

"Morning Miss. Are you off yet?"
"Yeah almost. How late is breakfast served?" Maya asked.
"From six to eleven-thirty."
"Thank you," Maya said.

She finished putting everything out and when she was done she went to eat breakfast then got a call from her mom.

"Morning," Maya said and saw Shawn as well.
"Where are you?" Shawn asked.
"Breakfast hall I think it's called. I'm just eating then I'm off. I want to be in Malibu before sunset," Maya said.
"Be careful. How was yesterday's drive?" Katy asked.
"Quiet. Thought people would go to places now that school closed."
"Listen we have to go. Early shift. Keep safe. Love you," Katy said.
"Love you too. Bye."

As soon as Maya put the phone down her breakfast was bought and she ate.
When she finished it was around seven and she booked out.
She went to a gas station and bought water, some snacks for along the road and something for lunch.
She put it in the cooler box on the passenger seat then she was off.
She looked at the time.
Yeah time to get going.
