Chapter 9 - Long Time No See

Josh's pov

I had no idea what she was doing there and had no intention of finding out.

"It's nice seeing you," Josh said and left.
"Are we really going down the same road?" Maya asked and Josh stopped.
"What do you mean?" Josh asked.
"The one from when we were kids. I'm not fourteen anymore. You can stop treating me like that," Maya said.
"What are you doing in LA?"
"Running away from Riley," Maya said.
"Haha. I'm serious," Josh said.
"So am I," Maya said and went down to the beach.

Josh had no possible idea why Maya would run away from Riley and he didn't knie if he wanted to.
One thing he did know was that it just surprised him.
He didn't think Maya and Riley would ever run away from each other.
But just like it says.
Maya is a weird girl.
Since he met her she has been pretty much a weirdo.
