He's a world-renowned singer-songwriter selling thousands of records, owns several luxurious places, two of the being a mansion in Malibu as well as a house in London, and he can afford any kind of Gucci item he's ever wanted. Part of your world: A story about two people realizing that their worlds might not be that different after all, because in the end all they crave is... love.

As a hardcore fangirl who happens to be situated in this weird time between graduating highschool and starting college, so therefore has got a lot of free time right now, I believe it is my duty to finally do this: Writing a fanfic, that most likely no one is gonna read. Also, yes I'm this old and I should probably be doing other stuff appropriate to my age like working for example, but here we are.

First of all, English is not my first language, so please keep that in mind when you're getting mad at my grammatical inaccuracies or spelling mistakes. In addition, the character from whose point of view I will tell the story is supposed to be British (Spoiler alert), but I personally surround myself more with American English, so it'll most likely happen that some words are gonna be mixed up. All these differences between American English and British English are freaking me out, I'm sorry. 

I'm gonna communicate with you guys all throughout the story, to explain if necessary and to directly respond to your feedback. This is the first story I'm publishing and the second story I'm ever writing, so I'm still figuring out how this works and progressively learning.

Disclaimer [28.12.2020]: Finishing up this story, I've come to realization that I've completely changed up my style of writing throughout the story. It was my first story and when I started I hadn't really know how I was gonna be able to express myself through writing. So, if you're questioning or criticizing the cohesiveness of the what you're about to read at any point (which you are totally allowed to do), please keep that in mind. It's gonna get more consistent the closer you'll get to the end. Also, read the very last chapter for a special announcement!

Like you may have noticed already, this is gonna be Harry Styles fanfic, a romance to be exact. Obviously, everything in this story is completely made up and is probably gonna end up being unrealistic and very cringey, but let's be honest which fictional love story isn't? Please, don't be so harsh on me, if I get any facts or references about Harry's real life and Harry's past wrong. Again, this is fictional and every little detail serves the sole purpose to contribute to the plot.The moment I am writing this (June 2019), there hasn't been any confirmation yet that Harry is indeed playing the role of Prince Eric, so let's all just hope for the best. If he ends up not getting or not taking the role to whatever reason, see this story as an alternative universe, where we can see Harry on the big screen in 2020.

Before we begin, I just want to say that I don't want to disrespect Halle Bailey in any way. I am aware that there was some controversy going around about her being casted as Ariel, but I can tell you that I appreciate Disney's decision and I do not want to start a discussion right now. I wish Halle nothing but the best and I would wish for you to remember to always treat people with kindness.

Announcement [17.01.2021]: I created a playlist for this story! There are three songs for each chapter + the title track with the lyric to each chapter, so four songs in total. Every song from HS1 marks a new chapter. I choose most of the song based on their lyrics and general mood, but also some of them only correlate with the plot in terms of one single aspect or simply by their title. Obviously this selection of songs is purely based on my own personal taste in music, which is why you're gonna find a lot Taylor, Shawn, Camila and Ariana, so please don't attack me for my poor choices haha.
