I applied on the few touches of my makeup before shaking my hair into flawless beach waves. I think I look pretty decent to be honest.

Sighing, I admired my reflection at the floor length mirror before me, "I'm impressed with myself..." I beamed, forming a smile.

I wore a light knee-length white dress with a slit, exposing a little bit of my skin, and I wore tan colored sandals to match with my thick brown belt.

"Time is ticking, we better get going," Madison chorused while looking out the sun drooping behind the clouds, "Are you coming Zoë?" She turned to our roommate.

She was in bed, looking through Tumblr, her hair messy as shit as she rocked the clothes she was sporting earlier.

As we headed towards the door, she flapped her hand in front of us, not sparing us a glance, her eyes still stuck on her phone.

Zoey rolled her eyes, "You three go ahead, I'll catch up in a minute or so."

"Are you sure?" I blinked, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, "We could wait for you if you want. We're not in a rush or anything, you know."

Erika shrugged, her voice shrill as ever as she screamed at the top of her lungs, "Time to par-taayy!" She cheered, her energy exploding through her.

"Let's go," Maddy said, slinging her handbag over her shoulder, "The party is not gonna have fun on it's own."

The beach captured its true essence and beauty. The coral waves splashed soundly on the shore, and we had a good view of the setting sun.

There was a buffet table with different foods like cocktails, drinks, fruits, and finger-foods, decorated with satin ribbons and candles. To top that off, in the center was a tall chocolate fountain.

The place actually looked like a venue of a beach wedding because of the decorated cocktail tables, hanging banners, and shining fairy lights above us.

My friends and I noticed that there was also a campfire, and logs which serve as seats to match the aesthetic.

Everyone was wearing their best summer outfits for the welcoming party. Different colors of clothes to match the event.

"Smile!" Maddy called. I whipped my head and saw her phone up, on camera mode, ready for a picture in front of the tequila sunset.

I bolted towards Madison who was holding up two of her fingers, and Erika who stuck out her lips, while I did the famous saranghaeyo pose.

There came a flash of light from the camera, taking every detail of our unforgettable summer.

I informed my friends, "Hey, I'm going to get strawberries drizzled with chocolate syrup for us before we begin," I pointed at the buffet table,"Save us a place."

They gave me a thumbs up as I made my way to the buffet table loaded with appetizing meals.

I grabbed a plate then started filling it up with a tower of strawberries. Licking my lips, unable to contain myself from sinking my teeth in the fresh delicacies, I shakily poured some chocolate sauce over the fruit.

My eyes were somehow too focused on the plate of fruits when I suddenly and accidentally bumped into someone, spilling some sauce over her expensive and designer top.

"What a clutz!"

Going into a full blown panic due to my clumsiness, I apologized profusely, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to." I started gathering some tissue papers from the nearest table.
