"Hey, Anderson!" a voice meters away from me called. I put down my fork and turned away from my ushering BFFs to see who has summoned for me.

Quite shocked, Alex slowly walked towards me with his hands in the pockets of his denim ripped jeans as he sported a plain black shirt.

Maddy snickered from behind, "Go getcha, man, honey!" I just rolled my eyes at the ridiculousness of that girl. But I love her!

"Yes?" I creased a brow, folding my arms across my chest, getting up from my seat, "What's up?"

Alex shoved a paper in my hands and I just stared at it cluelessly and bluntly, "We're having a meeting with Sam's colleagues later by 3 PM."

"W-why?" I asked as my face was draining color. I felt my heart beating quickly. Did I do something wrong?

He shrugged, pocketing his hands again, "Dunno, progress or something, "Then we watched in awe as he walked away coolly and cockily away from us, not waiting for me to say something.

My heart trailed back to its normal state as I whipped to face my friends once again. I stirred my coffee with the tip of my spoon plainly.

"I'm so losing a lot of money..." I muttered, obviously talking about the dare.

Maddy grinned, "Don't be so down in the dumps! Opposites attract! He is a brainless fucking douchebag and you're a slayin' queen. What could go wrong?"

Everything.

"That's the perfect formula for chemistry," Erika pointed out before taking a sip from her drink.

I rested my head on the table as I snapped, "And who said we're attracting? That's not part of the deal..."

They were obviously not interested with the reaction they just received. They started shipping me with Alex ever since we stepped foot in this camp and it's slowly driving me crazy.

"Girl, we got to go," Maddy announced, getting up while looking at her watch, "Erika and I have to meet with our partners at the office in a few minutes. Bye!"

As I touched every single article of clothing that I packed ranging from sundresses, shirts, croptops, shorts and pants, I still couldn't help but think of what Kylie just said.

Will she really be that vile? Ruthlessly exposing my identity when she obviously doesn't have a fucking right?

If she tells the whole Castra Kappa Pi who I really am, it will break me and... change me for some reason.

I craned my neck as I picked out a croptop with a rainbow design across the top and some leggings to match my outfit.

Fortunately, I still have lots of time to spare for myself before Alex and I's meeting with one of the authorities in Castra Kappa Pi.

To be totally honest, Alex and I really don't need the background check cuz both of us totally hate each other, and that's a fact!

While I applied my cheek tint, my phone vibrated. Quickly, I answered the call but I was disappointed and frustrated to learn that a pack of wolves, also known as my parents, were contacting me.
