Femi's POV

"Am sure she's still with us ." He said to me as he walked away .

I wanted to glare at him knowing the amount of times he had insulted her having no respect for the dead .

I sighed as I walked closer to the grave and bent down, today marked her tenth anniversary.

I remembered this day ten years ago , we were all in the dinning room when my dad received a call that she wants to see me.

My dad sighed , complaining but I think the doctor explained her situation and he took me to the hospital.

I met her there , she still managed to grin when she saw me and I ran to her side . She told me just one thing and as if just waiting for me , she died there , "I love you Femi."

I loved her too , a lot.

After spending another hour there taking about things happening to me , about Idara , I finally stood up .

I walked to.wgere the cars were parked and met my two best friends there talking.

"Sup." I said as I walked up to them , well they always followed me here .

Daniel walked up to me , patting my back "how are you coping?"

I smiled at him "guy , am fine ooo. Just tired that's all."

"Femi , we are serious here , stop that your am fine stuff jare." Ayo said this time.

An sure this is more than the visit or remembrance.

"What's happening?" I asked back .

"I heard your dad tell his driver to go to the airport. "

" What do you mean?". I asked .
"I think , Ire and the witch are arriving today."Daniel said.

"No , no , no that can't be true oo. Today ??" I asked not waiting for an answer as I walked to my car .

"Femi calm down oo "Ayo said.
"He never told me they were going to come today." I said back.

"But there's nothing you can do about it." Daniel said to me .

Sadly , that was the truth. There was nothing I could do about it than to just go with it .

"Uhm , I need to go ." I said to them as I entered my car . I waved at them as they also turned to go to their cars.

I picked my phone and called the one person that could help me clear my head and make me happy .

Idara; hello

Me; hi babe .

Idara; how did it go.

Me; it was fine . Can't believe it's already ten years now.

Idara; just know that it's all fine and she wants you to be happy.

It's true she always told me that. A thought quickly came to my head.

Me; babe let's go on a date .
Just me and you.

Idara; laughs......
Are you sure it's okay?

Me; yeah I want to be happy . I will pick you up in an hour and half okay??

Idara ; see you then.
Phone call end....

I dropped the phone as I drove out of the cemetery . Blasting risky by Davido and speeding off to lekki mall.

I parked my car and stepped out. Walking into the mall , I walked to the chocolate section .

I picked three packs of KitKat and some other snacks , as I walked to the counter to pay.

My phone churned in my pocket as I stood in front of the counter.

I took it out , it was dad . I sighed as I put my phone on aeroplane mode.

After a thirty minutes drive , I parked my car and picked my phone.
I switched the aeroplane mode off and called Idara.

Me; am outside
Idara; okay.

I heard the gate opened and I watched as she walked out in a beautiful joggers and top to match.

She smiled as she walked to the car , and I couldn't help but come down and hug her.

Idara's POV

I smiled as I walked out of the house. The car door opened and he walked out looking hot.

He was wearing a black jeans and v-neck with a jacket.

He pulled me into a hug immediately he reached my front.

I couldn't help but hug him back patting his back. He needed it right now.

He pulled back and held my hand "you look beautiful." He said smiling. I blushed at that "thanks. So where are we going?" "It's a surprise."

"God. You are no fun. " I said as we entered the car. He laughed as he sped off .

"This is real fun to me babe. " I laughed that.
Every time he calls me that I just feel so good and happy.

"And it's fun to see you blush." He added again as I hit his arm.

"You are sick I tell you." I said back laughing with him.

After lots of battering he parked in front of the lekki conservation centre.

"This place is beautiful." I said as we stepped out of the car and walked inside.

As usual he has bought or maybe paid in advance .

"Ohh I forgot something." He said as he walked back to the car. He came back with a lekki city mall nylon and passed it to me.

I opened it , it was filled with chocolate and some snacks "you are the best person right now." I said giggling as he held my hand.

"I know already babe." He said with a smirk.
We reached the long bridge in the middle of the trees.

And to say I wasn't scared was a lie.
"Femi, this place is high." I said as I stood back.

"Idara let's go , you can't fall down .
I will make sure to cat h you even if you did." He said as he held my hand.

I glanced up at him smiling, we walked on the bridge , smiling at the various animals there .

"Babe you have something on your hair." He said as he held me back.

"What ? remove it ." I said fast . He placed his hand on my braid and picked something there.

He smiled looking at me "Idara thanks a lot."

"For what?" I asked him , "for being here. For liking me , for staying with me . Idara would you be my girlfriend?" He asked grinning at me .

My heart was beating so fast , i was just so happy , me being Femi's girlfriend was the most beautiful thing right now.

I nodded smiling at him. He laughed as he Hugged me "I knew you would say yes but I was still scared . "

He stepped back and immediately smashed his lips on mine .
