   MERCURY'S POV.

"Hey Mer, have you seen your dad anywhere?" Gino asked.

"No, I saw him go upstairs with a blond chick like twenty minutes ago."

The hotel was large and filled to the brim with people.

I don't even want to know how many hands I've shaken.

"Of course he did." He responded as he sat down next to me.

As someone began to make a speech, I began to cough.

   What the hell?

"Excuse me for a sec."

Soon enough, I found an empty bathroom.
Looking into the mirror, I could see myself pale up quite a bit.

  What's wrong with me?

I began to have a fit of coughing. It had to have been at least a minute of me coughing into the sink.

   Shit.

I was coughing up blood at this point.

  Horseradish.

ANGELOS POV. HALF AN HOUR LATER.

I woke up to the sound of my phone blaring.

What the hell?

I turned to see someone sleeping next to me.

Oh lord, how did I get drunk in the first twenty minutes of that damn gala?

The woman next to me was Rachel Clark. Every year at the gala I always end up hooking up with her.

"Babe, turn it off." She groaned.

I have got to get higher standards.

My head kills.

I opened my phone up as I silenced the call.

23 messages from Gino.

"I'm going to kill you."

"Answer your phone bitch!"

My phone started to ring again.

"What?" I asked half asleep and completely pissed.

"If you're not at that hospital by the time we get there, I'm killing you and taking custody of my niece!"

"Why the hell are you going to a hospital?"

"Because Mercury had horseradish shit head!"

    And I'm sober again.

Where the hell are my pants?!

"Where are you going? You usually wait until around four to leave." Rachel laughed as she stretched.

   "The hospital. Don't contact me."

"Angelo!" I heard as soon as I got through the hospital doors.

Gino and Mercury, who was swaying, were at the counter, trying to check in.

"Sir, you can't check her in unless you have identification showing that you are her guardian. We can only take her back but you must stay here."

"I don't care just get her back there-"

My sentence was cut off as I saw Mercury pass out.

"Someone get me a stretcher!" The clerk said as she raced around the table.
