ANGELOS POV.

Since Mercury had been back, I had been a very light sleeper.

Any sound woke me up. It didn't matter if it was the faint click of the AC turning on, or even I imagined the sound of a door cracking open.

Whatever it was, I was up.

So you could imagine how fast I moved when I heard a piercing scream.

"Mercury!" I yelled as soon as I opened my door.

If she's gone I swear to god.

I didn't hear her answer.

"Mercury!" I called again, this time closer to her room.

   Nothing again.

I was ready to scream her name again when I opened her bedroom door.

I tensed when I saw she wasn't in her bed.

But I relaxed as I saw her bathroom door open with the light on.

She was looking at her stomach in the mirror, with tears streaming down her eyes.

What the hell?

"Mercury?"

She looked away from herself, and immediately uttered the words "I'm sorry."

"What do you have to be sorry-,"

She turned to me, revealing the blood dripping down from her hardly healed scars.

"I-I didn't mean to, I-I had a dream and-," she began to hyperventilate.

"Mercury, don't apologize." I began to get a better look at her abdomen.

"It's just a couple of scratches." I attempted to reassure her.

Even though I knew that they were a lot more than just a simple mark on her skin.

She hadn't had a nightmare since I had gotten her back.

And for her remember something so vivid as she slept.

It broke my heart.

MERCURYS POV.

I woke up with the feeling of a light, ticklish peck on the cheek, and a deep voice saying, "Svegliati Dolcezza."

It was how he woke me up every time he was around and I was asleep.

He said that his mother would wake him up like that anytime she could, and that anyone would rather be woken up like that instead of simply using an alarm clock, or being shaken awake.

"Hm?" I struggled to open my eyes.

I felt like I had only been sleeping for mere minutes.

"É mezzogiorno."

"Already?" I grumbled.

"We're going over to your grandparents house. Remember?"

I grumbled random swears as I rolled over, turning to see an already dressed Angelo.

Always a suit.

"She wants you to help her make lunch, so we are going to have to go a bit earlier."

I groaned. "Why can't you and Gino help out?"

"Because Gino can't even spell out kitchen and I hate cooking."

Oh yeah.

"Alright, I'm up." I tried to sit up, stopping my self slightly as I winced.

"How does it feel?"

"Honestly? It's been worse."

And a hell of a lot better.

I couldn't believe that I dreamt about him again.

"Well, you did scratch through scarred tissue." He reminded me. "That's always going to hurt more."

I guess that is true.

"Ugh. Now I have to wear something she bought me." I complained as I got out of bed and made my way to the closet, changing the subject.

"Are you guys ready yet?!" I heard Ginos voice as I looked through my options.

"Oh my god. Why are you always here?"

"Angelo, you practically forced me to have a key made."

"You had a fucking key made?"

"What about this?" I held up a Burberry skirt with a long sleeved black shirt.

"Cute." They said at the same time before going back to arguing.

Good enough for me.

"You really got a fucking key made without- How the hell did you even get a key to copy?" I heard Angelo point out as I got dressed in the bathroom.

"Interesting question. I probably won't answer it, but-,"

"Gino, who's key did you take?"

He's going to kill him.

"I knew neither of you would let me have yours, so I just took moms."

  "Mom has a key too?!"

"Alright, I'm ready." I walked out after brushing my teeth, trying me best to keep as little bloodshed as possible.

Not that I can do much to stop it.
