Daisy wandered back into the game room holding 2 duvets and a few blankets to make beds on the floor. James and Luke were already excitedly arranging everything, with Keira sitting on the floor admiring Luke as he did.

"What movie are we watching before bed then?" Daisy asked, hurling herself onto the extremely comfy looking couch, much to the dismay of an onlooking James. "Hey I just tidied th-" James began, but was cut off by Max running into the room and shouting, "a horror movie 100%, please I love horror movies!"

Keira groaned, "they scare the living daylight out of me, no way am I sitting through that before I go to sleep!" She protested, picking up the TV remote and moving it away from Max. "Don't worry, Lukey will protect you." Max laughed, winking at a now blushing Luke. "Shut up dude." Luke murmured, turning around and leaving the room.
"I'll watch a horror movie." Jake added, also running and jumping onto the other couch closer to the door. "Ok one more vote and we have a majority, Daisy what do you think." James said, turning on Netflix and sitting on the smaller couch with Jake.

Luke walked back in, holding 2 bowls of popcorn, "yeah sure i wanna watch a scary movie too." He grumbled, avoiding eye-contact with Keira as he sat next to Daisy and Max on the big sofa against the back wall of the room, facing the large TV. "Great! It's settled then!" James sang excitedly, putting on some sort of ghost movie about a possessed girl. Keira hopped onto the sofa, sitting next to a shy Luke, who was next to Max and then on the end was Daisy. James turned off the lights, and Keira squealed and subconsciously leaned towards Luke as James pressed play on the creepy movie.

Daisy leaned forward, her tshirt riding up at the back as she reached to grab a large double duvet, and throw it over her and Max, covering their bodies completely. She felt an arm slip around her bare back as she did so, and froze, nervously turning her head to face Max with a questioning look. "Didn't want you to get scared." He whispered, grinning innocently and repositioning his arm for Daisy to, somewhat cautiously, lean back into; their embrace covered by the thick bedding over them.

Max smelt really good to Daisy, and she couldn't help but lose herself in the moment, 'he smells like mint, maybe he just brushed his teeth. I bet that means his breath is really nice right now too.' She glances to her side, admiring his beautiful face, 'holy shit look at his jaw. Why is it so... like... sharp? And more importantly why do I find that attractive? Stop it Daisy, it's only a nice jawline and some deep green eyes. And also that toned back you saw... and also his messy hair an— stop Daisy. Stop freaking out!' She didn't realise that she was still staring at him, and suddenly feeling conscious of her creepiness, she averted her eyes, facing the tv again, innocently leaning her head into Max's broad shoulder.

About 1/3 of the way through the movie, Daisy picked up on the light sound of Jake snoring, but when she looked around the room everyone else seemed perfectly awake, especially Keira, who was practically shitting herself as images of the possessed creature flashed on the screen. Max's hand was still on Daisy's waist, and it lay comfortingly under her shirt from when it had risen up. Slowly, he started to stroke his fingers in the small area that his hand was placed, and it sent shivers down Daisy's back, rendering her incapable of concentrating on the film infront of her. His movement seemed subconscious and not deliberate, but to Daisy nothing else in that moment mattered, other than the light feel of fingertips on her sensitive skin.
