"Oi busu, sing a song for me"

Tsukishima, Hikaru's master, requested as soon as she finished recording another song cover that her sister needed. As usual, she was accompanied by her master to the music room when it's finally lunch break. The blonde master of hers found it troublesome if she got forced by her former bullies and decided to come with her every single time.

Of course, that wasn't the only benefit he got. He can hear the nation's cover queen singing live in front of him. And truthfully, Hikaru's voice sounded good and addicting that the blonde secretly downloaded her newly released covers under the name of Izanami.

Hikaru raised a brow, "...but I just did...?"

"That was for your sister. Not for me." Tsukishima rolled his eyes and heaved a sigh, probably thinking of her as stupid again. "And you're not supposed to turn down my orders busu. We had a deal" he even added, giving her a stern look. The blonde had been playing all of her covers nonstop, and now he wanted to hear a new song. Today's the perfect moment.

Hikaru shrugged, "...okay...song...?"

"Could speak in complete sentences? You're like Hinata and Noya-san when you answer word by word busu" grumbled the blonde, after spending almost 10 seconds to get what the female had just said. "You decide what you want to sing"

"...but you're the one aski—"

"Just get on with it idiot" he interrupted, getting impatient by the second.

Hikaru obeyed without any more objections. She walked over to the covered grand piano, covering her nose not to inhale the dust. Well, Tsukishima got unlucky sneezing three times because of that. "... goshujin you sneeze like a little girl..." she commented as she settled down on the seat in front.

The blonde glared at the girl, annoyed by her uncalled for statement. "Urusai busu" he grumbled, crossing his arms.

The girl could only chuckle at her master, before proceeding to think of the song she's going to play. She did a few warm-ups, feeling the nostalgia as she plays different notes on the piano. She could hear each of the thuds on every key she pressed. It is the first instrument she learned to play, back when she was just 5.

Hikaru always had a natural talent when it comes to music, she would surprise even her own father a week after he taught her the basics of one instrument. Music fascinated Hikaru the most. It creates an illusion whenever she played. It creates another world overlapping reality, and that world in all sense is better than the real one. But, her parents' death brought grief upon the passionate heart of Hikaru. Only now, she would touch again another instrument besides guitars.

The female slowly played the right keys to the song. Inside her chest slowly built up the locked away feelings of sadness and longing for her parents. She had always been the strong one between her and Konami. Even when the news of their parents' death reached her ears, her sister broke down into tears, while she attended the funeral with an emotionless face. Everyone thought that she's really a weird child, a robot perhaps, but of course they wouldn't know the sleepless nights Hikaru spent crying her heart out silently inside her room.

"...To the future me
Change the track left by tears into a dream

Shake it off, the love that runs past stops
Inside the depths of my chest/heart, the album that piled up..."

Hikaru started singing, as she reminisces about the moments she spent with her parents. The time she wasted whenever she didn't play or talk to them. Regret filled her up as her fingers pressed down different keys to this song, the last song she ever played on the piano back. She never thought that she would be singing to this again. It's like the pent up feelings are slowly coming out with every word.

The bespectacled boy could only stare in awe, as he feels the surge of emotions brought by the music and the voice of the girl singing. This is one of the reasons why Tsukishima liked to listen to his servant's singing. The meaning of the lyrics is conveyed with the right tone and facial expression. In all honesty, the boy thought of Hikaru's expression whenever she sings, as beautiful.

You exist in the midst of my sadness
What should I do?
I need to start something, or I'll be alone again
The map of the future that you confided to me first
I've stopped crying over our paths that don't intersect

The clumsy two miracles
I want to cherish it, I want to look forward

That's why I'll smile...even though
It's painful, it's painful, I can't catch my breath

"I'll wait for you forever"
To the future you..."

Hikaru played the last keys and slowly tears started falling out of her eyes. "...oh shit, why now Hikaru..." she mumbled, trying to wipe it all away before her master even notices. But unfortunately, Tsukishima is not as dense as not to notice how sad she looked like as she sang earlier.

The blonde tapped her on the shoulder, "Oi busu, wipe your tears"  he offered his handkerchief, but the girl just shook her head and tried to tell him off, muttering a small no thanks.

Hikaru found herself, still crying silently. The tears that are left inside her heart are now pouring nonstop like rain. She had to stop this. It's no good if Tsukishima sees her like this. She takes her glasses off and fished for her own hanky in her skirt pocket.

But before she does, Tsukishima yanked her on the shoulder. Turning her around to face him. "I said wipe.....your tears" he stopped for a second, taking a good look on her face without her glasses.

This was a first for the boy. Hikaru's bangs stuck on the sides of her face, her eyes wet with tears and her lips slightly parted. He was in a trance as he stared into those brown orbs of hers, he had never seen her like this. She isn't really ugly after all.  Tsukishima thought, still looking at her hidden features.

Hikaru turned her back, wiped her face in a flash, and wore her glasses again, snapping Tsukishima out of a trance. "...sorry for that hideous view goshujin..."

"It wasn't hideous" The blonde muttered under his breath, even Hikaru's brows furrowed in confusion. She isn't sure if she heard him right.

"...what did you say goshujin...?" she asked.

Tsukishima panicked for a second, regretting internally what he said subconsciously. "I said you're ugly as ever, idiot. Tss, I'm leaving" snapped the boy before turning around to leave.

Not wanting his servant to see his slightly tinted cheeks. Tsukishima grumbled as he walked away, "The hell's wrong with me today"
