Diavolo leant back into his chair,
sighing,
reminiscing over the time you two had spent together only a few hours ago.

"Diavolo! Come over here!
I bought us some gummy rings so we can get married."
You had yelled from down the hall,
a giant smile plastered over your face.
Deeply chuckling,
Diavolo ran after you as you had turned and fled to his room to prepare for your makeshift 'wedding.'

But alas,
as you had recited your vows and placed the edible rings onto each others fingers,
leaning in for the moment,
you were obviously interrupted by none other than the 7 demons you two knew so well.

"Ya! Old man, away from em!"

"What's going on?! MC-"

"Can I eat the rest of those sweets?"

Begrudgingly,
you were dragged from the room
admist all the yelling and fighting from the brothers,
the door slamming shut behind them.

Releasing another sigh,
Barabtos snapped,
gripping the tea tray tighter in his hands in a effort to contain himself.
"Lord, that's your 1307th sigh today... is everything alright?"
Sending a forced smile over to his ruler,
Barbatos knew something was off and had been off for a while.

"Well, Barbatos,
Mc was being so cute and she demanded we have a wedding.
And as we were about to kiss,
we were interrupted!"
Almost whining,
Diavolo crossed his arms over his chest and his eyebrows knotted in confusion and anger.

"My Lord, it seems you're eager to settle down with MC then...
but you do know it was pretend right?
Just a fantasy of theirs, a little fun to them, if you will-"

"Then I'll marry them properly and formally!"
Pushing himself out of his chair,
he looked at Barbatos with a bright smile and determination in his eyes.
"What's there to stop me?"
Almost in an instant,
Barbatos' expression dropped and he stared back at the prince blankly:
almost in pity.

"Young Prince, I'm glad you're eager to settle down and start a family,
but in the human realm MC hasn't even reached teenage years yet."
