Dear Dove,

I remember the first time I ran into you in the middle of your kitchen.
When I first started tutoring Blake
and Phoebe had come over to practice your new routine outside.
I'll never forget how kind you were
to keep the two of us on opposite sides of the house.
You and Blake were always
sweet like that.
Running interference for these two people that once meant the entire world to each other.

You always had the kindest heart.
The most selfless of words
you spoke too.
I missed Phoebe a lot in
those earlier days.
And secretly, I always hoped she'd find someone like you.
A new friend that she could trust as much as she used to trust me.

I'm glad she found you.
And you know what?
I'm glad I did too.

See, when I first started this,
I thought I'd only be writing to the people that had hurt me.
Say my last goodbye's and get them to see their faults.
You know, that sort of thing.

But then I thought of you
and realized something.
You deserved letters too.
Not because you wronged me.
But because you saved me
and I saved you.

Blake gave me the
courage to find Stella.
But you, kind hearted Dove, saved Samuel from killing himself on that one fateful night.
You, my sweetest Dove, made Stella a reality by saving Samuel.

You did that.

Thank you, Dove.
Thank you.
