Our promise

Y/n's pov

I was going to my estate, it was late at night, we just finished making the medicine, working with Tamayo and Shinobu is fun.

I was walking, my eyes are closing, I looked up and saw giyuu sitting on one of the benches.

He looked at me.

"Y/n, you're still awake?" He asked looking at me, I walked to him.

"Yeah...we just finished making the medicine.." I said yawning.

"Take a seat," giyuu said, I sat beside him.

"How about you? What are you doing here late at night?" I asked him.

"I cannot sleep," he said.

"Is that so.." I said.

"Well look at the moon," I said looking up to the moon, he also did the same...

"The moon is beautiful isn't it?" I said.

"Huh..." Giyuu asked confused he looked at me, I giggled.

Looks like he doesn't know what that means.

"Hmm...I guess?" Giyuu said looking at the moon again.

I giggled again.

"Why are you giggling?" He asked.

"Looks like you don't know what that means, huh?" I asked.

"Does it have a meaning?" Giyuu asked I laughed.

"It does have a meaning.." I said.

"What does it mean?" He asked.

"It won't be fun if I tell you..right?" I said.

"You're mean," he said, I laughed and I pinched his cheeks.

"You're so cute," I said, he pinched my cheeks back.

He giggled.

"You're too cute," he said.

"Liar.." I said as I stood up.

"I'm not lying," he said, I giggled.

"Well...I will go ahead and sleep now, you should sleep too" I said he stood up.

"Don't go yet.." he said.

"Hm? Why?" I asked.

"I still wanna talk.." he said.

I sat down again.

"What do you wanna talk about?" I asked.

"Well...I just realized, that, the final battle is gonna start soon.." he said.

"Yeah...it's gonna start soon," I said agreeing.

"What are you gonna do after we defeat muzan?" He asked looking right into my eyes waiting for an answer.

"I will go back to my old home.." I said.

"What about your estate?" He asked.

"I would just probably visit it once in awhile" I said.

"After the final battle, a lot of people will die...right?" He asked.

"Yeah.." I said.

"Can you make a promise to me?" He asked I looked at him.

"What kind of promise?" I asked.

"Promise me, you'll not die in the battle, promise me!" He said I looked at him shocked, I giggled soon after.

"I won't die," I said giggling.

"Promise me then!" He said as he lifts his pinky.

"I y/n promise you I will not die in the final battle," I said as I intertwined our pinkys together.

"Then...I feel at ease that I won't lose you" he said smiling.

"You won't lose me, so don't be scared," I said giggling.

"I'm scared that I will lose someone precious to me again..." He said sighing after.

"I already lost my sister and my best friend, I don't wanna lose you," he said to me.

"Don't worry you won't lose me" I said giving him a smile.

"Promise me you'll also not die!" I said, he suddenly pulled me in a hug.

"I won't die I promise," he said,.I smiled and I hugged him back.

"Well...let's go back to our estates and get some sleep," I said.

"Yeah you're right, now that I feel at ease I can finally sleep now," he said letting go of the hug.

"Well then see you around," I said as we went to our estates.
