Chapter 22

Y/n's pov

I and giyuu were running back, we made it but we still have a roof to get sheltered by the rain, the only sheltering us is his haori.

We then bump into Shinobu and mitsuri walking.

"Oh! Y/n, Tomioka-san we were looking for you two!" mitsuri said as she saw us running.

"Where have you two been?" Shinobu asked worriedly.

"We went somewhere" giyuu responded.

"Here!" Shinobu said giving her umbrella to us, mitsuri then covered Shinobu and with her umbrella along with her.

Giyuu took the umbrella and covered us two.

"Make sure you get her to my estate safely," Shinobu said to giyuu.

"Alright," giyuu responded.

"Go ahead, she needs to have a shower or else she will get sick," Shinobu said, well she is now in mother mode.

"We will go now," Shinobu said.

"Where are you guys going?" I asked.

"I'm gonna stay with mitsuri for a bit," she said smiling at me.

"Go ahead now, you'll get sick," she said, I nodded, they then started walking away, more like sprinting.

"They are acting strange," giyuu said.

"Yeah" I agreed.

"Let's go to Shinobu's estate," she said, I nodded at him.

We walked to her estate, at the door zenitsu and the other two greeted us.

"Y/N-CHAN!" Zenitsu said as he runs to and hugs me.

"Slow down we will fall!" I said.

"I thought you ran away cause you were mad at us!" he said crying.

"Why would I be mad?" I asked cluelessly.

"Cause we left you!" he said, I giggled.

"I'm not mad, stop crying," I said patting his head.

"Oh! Are you with y/n-chan the whole time?" zenitsu asked giyuu, giyuu nodded.

"You guys are together right?" zenitsu asked.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Take care of y/n-chan, she's nice so don't hurt her!" zenitsu said to giyuu, giyuu also looked confused but nodded.

"What are you talking about zenitsu?" I asked confused.

"You guys are together, right?" zenitsu asked.

"Well..yeah cause ren-" I got cut off by zenitsu.

"See! Now then, sorry to interrupt" zenitsu said as he ran to tanjiro and inosuke.

"let's go! The couple needs space" zenitsu said to the two, tanjiro and inosuke nodded, my eyes widen, WHAT COUPLE!?

The three then ran inside.

"WHAT DO THEY MEAN BY COUPLE?" I asked.

"I guess he was referring when he asked you if we are together" giyuu responded.

"Well aren't we together this whole time?" I asked.

"Cause rengoku didn't invite us remember" I continued.

"I think he meant, another 'together' " giyuu explained.

"so you mean...HE WAS SAYING IF WE ARE A COUPLE!?" I asked giyuu, he laughed.

"You didn't understand him?" giyuu asked giggling.

"Oh my god!" I said face palming myself.

"It's alright..let's go inside, we are wet and it's cold here," he said I nodded.

We went inside the estate.

We were walking back to our room (the room where the tanjiro,inosuke,zenitsu, and y/n are staying) then we bumped into Aoi.

"Y/n-san, Tomioka-san, Why are you wet?" she asked.

"The rain.." I answered.

"Wait in the room, I'll get you both some towels," she said before I could stop her she was gone.

"Let's go," giyuu said, I nodded.

I opened the door and saw the three talking.

"Welcome to the room lovely couple," zenitsu said welcoming us two.

"We are not a couple," I said.

"But you said you guys are together," zenitsu said.

"I thought you were saying that we are together when we are not in rengoku's place," I said.

"So you and Tomioka-san are not a couple?" Tanjiro asked.

"Who cares!" Inosuke said eating a rice ball.

"Yeah..we are not a couple," I said.

"Yet!" zenitsu said following my statement.

"What do you mean yet?" I asked zenitsu.

"You two still not a couple yet," he said, I sigh.

"Well he's right..." giyuu said.

"Huh?" I asked confused.

"We are still not a couple yet," he said.

Zenitsu and tanjiro started freaking out.

I was so confused right now.
