Ek Perfect Honeymoon

A month had passed since Holi, and everyone was continuing with their daily routines. In his spare time, Vivek was there for his family and was starting to change a little. He occasionally went to the Recreational center with his brothers to play sports. The girls loved hearing about the dates and outings he took Sadhana on. Raj was having a family night one day and they were all gathered around the fireplace. On the plush velvet couch, everyone was cozy.  "Main bas yahi soch raha tha ki Sadhana aur Vivek abhi tak apane honeymoon par kaise nahi gai. Unaki shaadi ko 9 maheene ho chuke hain aur abhi bhi koi romantic trip nahi hai? (I was just wondering how come Sadhana and Vivek have not gone for their honeymoon yet. It has been 9 months after their wedding and still no romantic trip?)" Vivek thought about it for a moment since he had been wanting to travel somewhere beautiful with Sadhana since he wanted to make her feel special. "Teenon jodi kaise jaate hain. Isake alaava yah aur majedaar hoga aur hum kuchh maheenon mein Sapna aur Preeti ki shaadi ki yojana bana rahe hain.(How about all three couples go? Besides, it would be more fun and we are planning Sapnaś and Preetiś marriage in a few months.)" Everyone got excited but then thought about where to go. "Hum kaise doosare desh chale jaate hain. Switzerland ki tarah, America ya kuchh aur?(How about we they go to another country? Like Switzerland, America, or something?)" Raj then answered Anand. "Idea romantic tha. Lekin phir hamen sabhi dastaavejon aur paasaporton ko sulajhaana hoga. Isamen lambi prakriya lagegi.(Idea was romantic. But then we would have to get all the documents and passports sorted out. It will take a long procedure.)" Vivek nodded his head and agreed. "Ya hum vibhinn raajyon kee yaatra kar sakate hain. Goa ke baare mein kaise?(Or we can travel to different states. How about Goa?)" Vivek did not feel like it. "Lekin yah ek bahut hi lokapriy gantavy hai. Main chaahata tha ki Sadhana aur any ladakiyaan vishesh mahasoos karen. Kuchh meetha aur yaadagaar.(But that is a very popular destination. I wanted Sadhana and the other girls to feel special. Something sweet and memorable.)" Then Vinod got a brilliant idea. "Hum teen alag-alag raajyon mein kyon nahi jaate. Is tarah hum thode se bhaarat tak pahunchenge. Yah bhi kamaal hoga.(Why don't we go to three different states? That way we will get to a little of India. It will be awesome too.)" Everyone agreed as they loved the plan. Suddenly Prem spoke about the first destination. "Thoda dakshin bhaarat ko dekhakar mera man ho raha hai. Kerala ek khoobasoorat jagah hai. Taad ke ped, nadiyaan aur houseboats, kochi jaise shahar aur itane saare sadaabahaar nazaare hain. Aakhir yah God ka desh hai. (I am feeling like seeing a little of South India. Kerala is a beautiful place. Palm trees, rivers, houseboats, cities like Kochi and so many evergreen sights are there. It is God's own Country after all.)" Vivek loved his idea since he has always dreamt of going to Kerala. Sadhana loved the plan too. After that, it was Mahimaś time to plan. "Hamaara agala gantavy Rajasthan hona chaahiye. Mere dost ka vahaan ek resort hai aur vah aap sabhi se milana chaahata hai. Garmiyon ke saath yah ek shaanadaar anubhav hoga.(Our next destination should be Rajasthan. My friend has a resort there and is wanting to see you all. It will be a wonderful experience with Summer around the corner.)" Everyone loved the second idea too. Vivek decided to do the last one.  "Main chaahata tha ki hum aagara jaen. Tajamahal mein romance karane ka isase behatar tareeka aur kya ho sakata hai! Yah atishyoktipoorn hoga.(I wanted for us to go to Agra. What better way there is than to have romance in the Taj Mahal! It would be extravagant.)" Everyone was very excited about the beautiful states they have planned. They all want to sleep after they have dinner. In the early morning, Preeti was packing Premś and her luggage. He helped her too as he got his items ready. "Are Prem aap ek maheene ke trip par ja rahe hain? Jeevan bhar ya kuchh bhi nahi. Itana saamaan kyon baandh rahe ho. Main mushkil se is suitcase ko band kar pa raha hoon.(Are Prem you are going for a monthś trip. Not a lifetime or anything. Why are you packing this much? I am barely able to close this suitcase.)" Prem laughed and said. "Mujhe kisi bhi samay in vastuon ki aavashyakata hogi. Mera camera, kapade, aapaatakaaleen kit, dastaavej, laptop, prasaadhan aur bahut see any cheejen. Itana kyon tadap rahe ho. Bas ise doosare baig mein rakh den. (I am going to need these items at anytime. My camera, clothes, emergency kits, documents, laptop, toiletries, and so many other things. Why are grunting this much? Just put it into another bag.)" Preeti replied back arrogantly. "Is maamale mein mujhe apane saamaan rakhane ke liye paryaapt jagah kabhi nahi milegi. Apane saamaan ke 300 bag andar rakhane ke liye bus mein pahale se hi bahut sicheejen hain. (In this case, I am never going to find enough space to keep my items. The bus has so many things already to keep 300 bags of your items inside.)" Prem laughed and smirked as he said. "Tum sirph vyangyaatmak ho rahe ho. Mera itani saari cheezen nahi hone vaali hain.(You are just being sarcastic. There are not going to be that many things of mine.)" Preeti frowned and gave the bag to him. "Phir aap khud apana saamaan pack kar sakate hain. Main kyon madad karoon. Aap jaanate hain ki kahaan ordar karana hai aur apani cheejen aur sab kuchh rakhana hai.(Then you yourself can pack your things. Why should I help? You know where to order and keep your things and everything.)"  Prem dropped it down with the weight it had. He finally had to listen to Preetiś advice as he sighed. They all went inside the van as they traveled for 19 hours to go from Mumbai to Rajasthan. They all played games and sang songs along the way. By the time they arrived, everyone was exhausted. They all met Mahimaś best friend Rashmi as she greeted them inside. They all were struck with awe. It was so luxurious inside and it looked so awesome. It had a cafe, spa room, gym, swimming pool, shopping centers and so many other things inside.   Suddenly a lady in a pink saree smiled at them warmly. Everyone immediately recognized the person which Mahima had been talking about. "Rashmi Auntie! Aapako phir se dekhana bahut achchha hai! Hum aapako yaad karate hain!(It is so great to see you again! We remember you!)" Rashmi hugged the girls and boys as they laughed. "Namaste! Aap 6 kaise hain? Mere hotel mein aane ki vajah ki khaas khabar kya hai?(Hello! How are you six? What is the special news of the cause for coming to my hotel?)" They all became surprised that she did not know the news. Rashmi was the class teacher and a close family friend of theirs. "Mummy ne nahi bataaya auntie ji?(Did not Mummy tell you, auntie ji?)" Rashmi looked confused so Vivek told her. "9 maheene pahale Sadhana aur mera shaadi hui thi. Hum doosaron ke saath apane honeymoon ke liye bhi aae hain. Aane vaale maheenon mein Vinod aur Prem inase bhi shaadi kar rahe hain isalie hum teenon ne ek saath dhamaaka karane ka phaisala kiya.(9 months ago Sadhana and I got married. We have come for our honeymoon with the others too. Vinod and Prem are getting married to these too in the upcoming months so we three decided to have a blast together.)" Everyone looked so excited especially Preeti and Sapna happy. But only Sadhana was looking very down when he mentioned the marriage. Only Vivek and Preeti were the ones who understood what her thoughts were and Preeti tried to calm her down. Rashmi Auntie hugged all of them. "Main yah sunakar sabase jyaada khush hoon. Main aapaka kamara kaise book kar sakta hoon. Aap is vishesh card se apane kamare ke bhugataan ke alaava any sabhi access ke liye swatantra hain. Yah meri taraf se ek uphaar hai. Yah aapako mere ghar Rajasthan kee visheshata ka aanand lene mein bhi madad karega. (I am the most happiest to hear this. How can I book your room? You are free to all other accesses other than your room's payment with this special card. It is a gift from my side. It will also help you to enjoy the specialty of Rajasthan, my home.)" Everyone thanked her as Vivek continued. "Hamaare paas ek king bed ke saath do kamare aur any do ke liye do bunk bed ho sakate hain. Kya yah upalabdh hai?(We can have two rooms with one king bed and two bunk beds for the other two. Is it available?)" Suddenly Sapna saw a poor man and child sweating in the hot temperature. She invited them inside and she added. "Kya hum do aur bed book kar sakate hain. Ve in donon ke liye hain. Main unaka bhugataan karoonga.(Can we book two more beds? They are for both of them. I will pay them.)" She gave the money but Rashmi could not accept it. "Mere priy. Main paise sveekaar karane nahi aa sakata kyonki aap bahut dayaalu, madhur aur doosaron se pyaar karane vaali hain. Aap aise hi bane rahen. Main unhen na keval kamara balki baaki sab kuchh mupht mein doonga. Aap jeete raho beti.(My dear. I can't come to accept money because you are so kind, sweet, and loving to others. You remain like this. I would give them not only the room but everything else for free. You live on, daughter.)" Sapna hugged her as Vinod smiled lovingly at her innocence. Vivek also smiled at his future sister-in-law.  Everyone went upstairs as Sadhana lay down with Vivek since they were exhausted after their 19 hours drive all the way from Mumbai. But Sapna, Preeti, Prem, and Vinod all wanted to go for a late-night swim in the pool as they relaxed and played like little children.
