I can't believe I made it home after what felt like an eternity. As soon as I arrived at my home, I was astonished by how enormous it was in comparison to my NYC flat. When I first came, my parents were sobbing and fiercely hugged me. I noticed the altar in my house, and it featured both images of Hindu deities (because my mother is Pakistani but comes from a Hindu family) and Allah (as my father is Muslim). My mum had prepared my favorite dishes for me as she had promised, and I was eager to sample each one. Arjun smiled and nodded as he hugged his mom. Just then he saw his most favourite people in the world, Ayesha Nand and Zain Bhaiya. Even when my parents are against me, the two of them always stand by me and take care of me.
