Three months have passed since the phenomenal Lohri celebration, and nothing has changed. Raj still has not found the guts to speak with Vinod, Jenny is still rejected by the family except Arjun and Priya, and Priya continues to recognize herself as Parul because the truth has not yet come to the public. Arjun wondered silently every single day whether Priya was going to discover the truth. There was a part of him that wanted the truth to come out and for everything to be alright. On the other hand, a part of him wished for Priya to never experience harm in this circumstance. His heart was still stiff, and he felt confused. Priya's memory loss has led her to believe she is Parul, and she frequently looks perplexed at family photos as she tries to piece together who she is. Arjun, spends hours telling her stories from their past but always trying to use the name Parul. "Paro, yah baat yaad hai? Hamane us samay apana honeymoon pahaadon mein bitaaya tha(Paro, remember this in your thoughts? We spent our honeymoon in the mountains that time.)" He sighs and she shakes her hand. Maybe one day she'll realize who she really is, Arjun thought to himself. However, Raj began to turn against him because he believed if Arjun told Priya the real story, it would traumatize her mentally because of Sameer's death. Since they were young, he has loved his elder sister dearly and has always wished for her to be without pain. She has experienced a lot of suffering in the past with Arjun, the poor girl. Raj storms into the bedroom as soon as Priya has left. "Arjun, isake liye aap poornataya doshi hai. Usake saath yah sab kuch kabhi nahi hua hota yadi aapane kabhi meri bahan se shaadi nahi ki hoti, nashe mein nahi hote, meri bhatiji Trisha ki maut ke liye use dandit nahi kiya hota, use talaak nahi diya hota aur alag nahi hue hote. Priya ke jeevan ki sabase badi bhool tumase milana hai(You are entirely to blame, Arjun. None of this trash would have ever happened to her if you had never married my sister, become drunk, punished her for my niece Trisha's death, divorced her, and split up. Priya's greatest blunder in life is having met you.)" Arjun was taken aback by his sudden comments. "Kuch haphte pahale, hum vaastav mein bahut achche dost the Raj. Hame ek doosare se kya alag kar raha hai? Mera ekamaatr lakshy Priya ko muskuraana hai(A few weeks ago, we were really great friends Raj. What is separating us from each other? My only goal is to make Priya smile." "Have you ever done anything to make my sister happy?)" Raj asked, rolling his eyes. "Umane use kaun-sa aanand diya hai? Aisa jeevan jo dukh aur peeda se yukt ho(What joy have you bestowed upon her? A life characterized by misery and agony?)" Tears clouded Arjun's eyes as he reflected back to the past. "Aap theek kah rahe hai. Us samay vah meri galati thi. Lekin kya vah us raat bach paati agar mainne use nahi bachaaya hota? Kya aap apani bahan ko phir kabhi dekh paenge? Kya Jenny aur aapaki shaadi mein kisi ki madad karane ka koi tareeka hota? Aap mujh par kya aarop lagaate hai(You're right. That was my fault back then. But would she have survived that night if I hadn't saved her? Would you get to see your sister ever again? Would there have been a way for someone to help with Jenny and you getting married? What makes you accuse me?)" Raj responded, surprised, saying, "Ab yah mere baare mein kaise? Aap kaise vishvasaneey hai? Kya hoga yadi aap keval use apane laabh ke liye upayog kar rahe hai to Priya bhi vaastav mein madadagaar rahi hai. Agar hum aapako koi pareshaani pahunchaate hai to aap hamaare khilaaph hone ke liye bhi svatantr hai(How come this is about me now? How are you reliable? What if all you're doing is using her to further your own gain Priya has also been really helpful. You are free to turn against us as well if we cause you any trouble.)" Arjun's collar is being held by Raj as the two begin to fight. Jenny is watching all of this in the midst of everything. She intervenes to prevent them from clashing. "Stop it! Agar main hi tum dono ke beech is saari araajakata ko badhaava de raha hoon to main ja sakata hoon. Haalaanki, sachche bhaiyon se aisi apeksha nahi ki jaati hai. Kya tumhe ek doosare se ladane mein sharm nahi aati? Aur Raj, mujhe ummeed nahi thi ki tum aisa karoge. Choonki Arjun badal gaya hai, isalie use pareshaan karane ka koi kaaran nahi hai. Main avishvasaneey roop se niraash hoon(I can leave if I'm the one fueling all of this chaos between you two. However, this is not what true brothers are expected to do. Are you not ashamed of each other for fighting? And Raj, I wasn't expecting you would do this. Since Arjun has changed, there's no reason to bother him. I'm incredibly let down.)" Raj glances at Jenny mournfully as he responds, "Mujhe maaph kar do Arjun bhaiya. Aapako isase baahar nikaalane ke liye main avishvasaneey roop se ahankaari aur aatmakendrit tha(I am sorry brother Arjun. I was incredibly conceited and self-centered to put you through this.)" Placing his hands on Rajś shoulders, Arjun grinned. "Main maafi bhi maangata hoon. Main tumhe maaph kar doonga, mera chota(I also apologize. I will forgive you, my brother.)" Jenny smiles and they both give each other hugs. In the meantime, Anurag's favourite cheesecake, lemon meringue, was being baked in the kitchen by Priya and Preeti. Today, he will return during his American vacation to see Arjun and his family. Priya's lack of response to Preeti's directions dismayed her. "Mujhe tumhe kitani baar bataana hoga Parul, ki tatar ki cream daalane se pahale, tumhe katore mein ande ki saphedi ko phentana tha taaki ve chamakadaar ho jaen aur kadi chotiyaan ban jaen? Is samay yah theek se kaam nahi karega.(How many times do I have to tell you Parul, that before adding the cream of tartar, you were meant to whip the egg whites in the bowl so that they turned glossy and formed stiff peaks? It is not going to work properly at this time.)" In response, Priya says, "Mujhe yah yaad nahi hai, Mama(I don't remember this, Mama.)" Preeti is irritated since their connection is being strained by Priya's memory loss. "Parul, kya tumhe vah nuskha yaad nahi jo mainne tumhe pichhale saptaah dikhaaya tha? Hamane aisa 100 baar kiya hai(Parul, do you not remember the recipe that I showed you last week? We've done this 100 times!)" Priya looks at the dish below. "Mama, main koshish kar raha hoon. Yah bahut kathin hai(I'm trying. It's just very difficult.)" When Preeti understood what a challenge it had been for her, she inhaled deeply. Preeti's love and concern for her child are apparent despite her irritation. "Mujhe maaf kar do Paro. Meri ekamaatr chinta aap hai. Mujhe tumase pyaar hai, meri jaanu(I am sorry Paro. My only concern is you. I love you, baby.)" Priya and Preeti cooperate to make the greatest one they have ever made. In preparation for the arrival of Anurag, the family's eldest child, everyone cleaned the house and got everything ready. Prem is becoming disheartened due to a heavy inner burden. Before he is put to death, this may be his last opportunity to see Anurag. It would arrive in a few weeks. To allow him to spend his final moments with his family, they had granted him an extension for all these years. The world at large recognized him as a murderer. Prem walked over to Priya and gave her a tender glance. "Parul, hum sab milakar is par kaabu pa sakate hai. Aapaki smrti haani ke baavajood main aapase kitana pyaar karata hoon yah aparivartit hai(Parul, together, we can overcome this. How much I love you remains unchanged despite your memory loss.)" It still felt strange to Prem to call his child Parul. "Aap sadaiv meri chattaan rahe hain, Papa. Tum mere jeevan mein ek aasheervaad ho(You've been my rock forever, Dad. You're a blessing in my life.)" Although Priya had never had the opportunity to meet her in person, she had heard a lot about her older brother Anurag's marriage. Due to his career taking priority, Anurag got married after Priya and Arjun. When the time finally arrived for their first encounter, Priya was ecstatic to welcome her new sister-in-law into their family's life. Priya smiled brightly and welcomingly as they sat in the comfortable living room, starting the chat. "Neethu, aakhirakaar aapase milakar khushi hui. Anurag aapake prati bahut dayaalu raha hai. Aapake jeevan mein cheezen kaisi chal rahi hai(it's a pleasure to finally meet you. Anurag has only been too kind to you. How are things going for you in life?)" Neethu, a composed and elegant woman, smiled back and said, "Parul, aapase milakar bhi bahut achcha laga. Mainne Anurag se aapake aur aapake khoobasoorat parivaar ke baare mein bahut kuch seekha hai. Mera jeevan bahut shaanadaar raha hai. Hamaare judavaan bachche Shiva aur Siya ke saath hamaara poora sahayog hai(it's great to meet you as well. I've learned so much about you and your beautiful family from Anurag. I have had a fantastic life. With Shiva and Siya, our twins, we have our hands full.)" Priya's eyes gleamed with curiosity. "Twins? Vah kitana saahasik kaary hoga! I have twins too. Please unake baare mein vivaran den. Mujhe jaanane mein khushi hogi(Twins? What an adventure that must be! Details about them, please. I would love to know.)" "Oh, ve mutthi bhar hai, lekin ve bahut aanand laate hai(Oh, they are a handful, but they bring so much joy)," Neethu said. "Terah saal ki umr mein, Shiva aur Siya sabase kareebi dost bane hue hai. Shiv ko khel khelana pasand hai; vah lagaataar soccer ball ka peechha kar raha hai. Doosari or, siya avishvasaneey roop se rachanaatmak aur ek bhaavuk paathak hai(At thirteen years old, Shiva and Siya remain the closest of friends. Shiva enjoys playing sports; he is constantly chasing after a soccer ball. Siya, on the other hand, is incredibly creative and a passionate reader.)"
