Chapter 12: Graduation Picture

I heard the alarm of my alarm clock signaling me to wake up. It's D-Day. 

"Ugh! My head hurts," I grunted as I get up on bed. Resulta ata 'to ng panonood ko nang movie kagabi. Naka-dalawang movie kasi ako kaya medyo late na ako nagising.

I opened my speaker because even though I'm tired from a long night, it is a good day today, so it was time to dance and do my morning routine. I played my playlist.

I sway my hips and feel the rhythm of the song. I also sing along with the song. I dance and sing for all I care. It's just me, anyway. Ganito talaga kapag maganda.

The playlist ended and I went to my comfort room to wash my face first.

"Puyat pero maganda pa rin. Wala talagang kupas," puri ko sa sarili. Natawa rin ako agad. Ang hangin ko ata. Isa rin 'to sa mga nagbago sa akin for the past years. I'm confident now.

I did my morning ritual and fix myself. Isang simpleng white dress na above the knee lang ang sinuot ko at isang brown hedge heels. Light makeup lang din ang ginawa ko at kinulot ko lang ang dulo ng aking mid-back length brown hair.

I pick up my small shoulder bag containing my cell phone, car key, perfume, lip tint, wet wipes, my wallet, and ang hindi pwedeng mawala sa bag ko, my sanitizer. I always use sanitizer on my hands.

I checked myself in my human-sized mirror and took a few photos. I'm in the mood to post my OOTD or my Outfit Of The Day on Instagram right now 'cause I feel so extra beautiful even with simplicity. 

I took a mirror selfie and uploaded it to my Instagram with the caption, "D-day. Congrats, self.! :) ." After uploading it, I turned off my phone and went out of my condo with my black toga in my arm.

I immediately went to the parking lot and my car.

I played my playlist. This time it's a random playlist of my mood. Earlier that was a playlist for dancing. Yeah, I have different playlists for different categories.
