40. 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈

Yuna's eyes dart to Taehyung's face. She examines all of his expressions. She notes how his smile changes into a frown to see the unexpected person in front of him

Park Jimin

Jimin walks into the room, grabbing both of their attention. He fastens his pace towards Taehyung and moves his hand forward. Taehyung force a small smile and does a handshake

" It's really... good to see you, Mr Park. I was informed of your arrival but... "

He looks at the table where all the gifts are placed " I didn't expect such a big welcome from you " Taehyung completes

Jimin chuckles and replies " Actually, I wasn't able to come to your wedding. Please take this as an apology from me and I've brought them with so much love. I hope you'll like it "

His gaze moves to Yuna before completing and Taehyung notices his gesture. Taehyung pulls away his hand and place it against Yuna's back, pulling her towards himself, gently

" I would like to introduce you to my lovely beautiful wife, Kim Yuna. I guess you haven't met her yet.  "

Jimin moves his hand forward for a handshake, his eyes not leaving her face. Taehyung looks at her face and then at Jimin. Yuna stands still and doesn't move an inch.

Taehyung holds her hands and rubs his thumb gently like he was assuring her that she was safe. Yuna comes back to the world from her thought and looks at Taehyung

She didn't know she needed this comfort. There's a weird tension and she's not able to ignore it. She tries her best

" I'm sorry Mr Park. My wife is an anti-social person. "

" oh... " Jimin steps back and withdraws his hand

" Shall we start the meeting? "
Taehyung asks

All the respected employees take place. Yuna places herself on the white seat, looks up and finds Jimin already looking at her. She inhales sharply and takes a glance at Taehyung. He has already dug himself into documents. Jimin close his eyes for brief seconds and give a nod before taking his seat in front of hers

Oh boy!

" Dismiss! " Taehyung commands and the sound of shuffling papers roam in the room. No one dares to say anything because Taehyung is a completely different person in front of his staff and a different softy, cuddly bear in front of his wife and Yuna loves this trait of hers.

Everyone stands up and leaves the meeting room. Yuna stands up and waits for everyone to leave, he stands beside his secretary and tells her the details

Yuna stands behind them and waits for him to complete.

" You may go now "
He orders, Mrs Wang  bows and leaves the room

Yuna coughs, grabbing his attention. He turns around and a small smile appears on his face

" What happened? "

She shook her head and keeps looking at his face. She hears his footsteps coming close to her but she remains in her position. Taehyung holds her waist and places a long kiss on her temple

" How's your day going so far, Hm? "

He engulfs her in a warm hug m, rubbing his hand on her back slowly

" I missed you... " She whispers and wraps her arms around him in no time

" Everything's okay? "

She nods " Taehyung... "
