Okuma POV

One day has already passed since my investigation. The classroom was bustling with students of Class 1-D as they exchanged information from one another. The information they seek are evidences and eyewitnesses that would greatly help me and Sudou's case.

From different areas such as the the upper rank classes of the first-year and the the classrooms of second and third years, nothing was left unexamined.

However, even if they tried their best, the information they gathered are not helpful, not even barely enough to help us overcome this case. Due to that, some of the students started to doubt if we could win this case, especially Ike.

"Damn, can we even win this case?". Ike asked as he sighed heavily.

"We should try as hard as we can, Ike-kun". Hirata said while he is brimming with trust. As if he is the embodiment of trust himself.

"I know that, but is there even an evidence, let alone an eyewitness to prove Sudou and Okuma's claim?".

"I believe there is no matter what, because that's what friends do". He claimed, giving importance to human connections.

Though, it's easier if I solve my problem by my own, I wouldn't mind to receive some helping hands from other people. More hands are better than one, they say.

"I see, but just in case we lost, our hard earned points will go down to drain! N-not that I totally blamed Okuma, though! Even as little as 8 thousand class points are enough". Ike complained. Thankfully, Ike still has awareness on his surroundings. If not, I might already strike him from behind.

"Indeed, the girls in Class A are buying more gorgeous dresses! I'm so envious about it". Karuizawa, the leader of the gals, addressed her dissatisfaction of lacking points.

"I hope that I could be on Class A from the start. I might buy anything I want each month".

"Yeah. I feel you too".

Instead of helping the two victims of false accusation, the whole classroom started to fantasize on becoming Class A students. All the points and reputation you receive in that class is akin to reaching a blissful life.

If the teachers and the principal are demi-gods, then Class A is considered as class full of superior beings.

However, even if they are "superior", with a slight hint of arrogance, it will eventually be the cause of their downfall. Similar to the downfall of the Roman Empire at its peak.

Someone will eventually take the crown of a "superior" being. So that's why, to take care of it, the wearer requires to have utmost vigilance against their enemies.

So fantasizing about being a Class A student is more like desiring a curse. The students here are just looking at the bright side, not considering the dark, thorny path that awaits them.

"Man, I wish we could have a way to instantly get into Class A". Ike complained. I already knew a way to reach Class A instantly. And that person is already here to explain how.

"Good news for you Ike, as there is a way". Chabashira-sensei interjected, leaving Ike's mouth agape.

"S-sensei?! Are you sure?!".

"Yes, you can. I assure you that this is absolutely legal".

"How?". Without wasting a single breath, he asked her about the method in anticipation.

"By paying 20 million points". Chabashira-sensei revealed. Students went on an uproar since it is impossible to earn that much points, especially when our CP, our source of income, is 78.

"That's impossible! That was hella expensive!". He complained, as if all routes are closed for him.

"It really is expensive, Ike, since its price was based on its value. Since you can use it to acquire the privilege of entering any school you want, it's fair that the price was set at that amount".

"But even so, that's not really helpful in our situation". Ike sat back, uninterested about Sensei's explanation.

"Oh right, you guys already receive points from club activities yet, haven't you?".

"Points from club activities?". At her following words, Ike became interested again, and so was the majority of the students.

"When you contribute to the club by participating in the finals or the championship, you will be able to receive points that is scaled based on the awards given".

"R-really?! Why didn't you said it earlier, sensei?! We might've participate on the club if we knew this!".

Welp, it's not surprising why. Just like what Yuki said, most of the teachers should've informed their students already.  But in our case, we were left in the dark for some vital information. That's why I really hate biased people. Just because a cock is skinny compared to it's competitor in a cockfight, doesn't mean that they are really weak.

Chabashira-sensei then looked at him with suspicion. "And what will you do? Join the club expecting to contribute and win the game for them with feelings of half-heartedness?".

"It's not like that, Sensei! We would've tried our best and earn points as best as we can". Ike said meekly, who wasn't able to argue about his feeling when joining a club.

"Well, good luck on that. Let's see if you bunch would be able to join one club. Unless you prove your capabilities, you will be just a disturbance to them".

After the whole drama, Sensei started the class by listing down the attendance.
