anri, ego and (name) discussed about the formation for a bit before deciding as barou entered the field with the other players. anri was a bit worried that it wasn't going to work since they hadn't practice this formation much but ego being ego, shrugged it off again.

the game started again but this time, (name) noticed a few changes. a few of them were now getting into the flow. barou was able to score a goal and his shirt flew off his chest. (name) and ego paused when shidou walked up to them, specifically (name).

"(name)~ if i score the next one, you give me your number, okay? sae promised he was going to give me his number too." shidou cooed as he got really close to (name)'s face. (name) grunted and shoved shidou's face away. giving a brief and blank, 'no'.

shidou pouted and whine as he clung onto (name)'s body. (name) stood up and groaned, trying to push shidou off him while shidou whined. sae was talking to the coach but paused when he saw shidou and (name) like this. he quickly threw his water bottle away and went to the two boys.

sae tried to pull shidou away from (name) and shidou kept whining 'not till (name) gives me his phone number' the next match was about to start and ego didn't even bother helping (name) out.

"okay whatever. if you win, i'll give you my number." (name) gave up since the match was already beginning so shidou and sae had to take their places quickly. shidou smirked and giggled before going over to his position.

sae stayed with (name) for a minute and looked at (name) with his teal eyes, speaking quietly or rather asking a question. "if i win, i get your number too right?" sae asked as his eyes bore into (name)'s eyes. (name) just sighed for a moment before thinking.

".." (name) was silent but he nodded anyway, if he was going to give shidou his number if they win than he might as well give sae his number too. sae was quiet but (name) can notice that sae's mood lifted up slightly as he went to where shidou was standing. sae and shidou were going to put in more effort now.

no they did not get that number. well yet. blue lock won after isagi shot that final goal that made the crowd roared loudly. anri was crying, all the substitutes were running onto the field to congratulate. for the first time, (name) saw ego clenching his fist together and seemed proud almost. (name) didn't know what to feel but he too, felt proud on how far the boys came from.

isagi was called on to be interviewed. everyone was yelling and screaming. (name) stood up as well after isagi finished the interview. watching everyone all happy and smiley with the brightest looks on their faces. except rin of course.

while everyone was talking, (name) noticed a figure. sitting quietly alone on the field with his hands covering his own eyes and wasn't celebrating with the others. rin looked like he was about to cry.

(name) walked up to rin. looking down at rin with a blank stare. rin finally looked up at (name) with a glare. "what." rin hissed grumpily as (name) continued to stare down at him. (name) thought about just walking away but he did remember a certain roommate of his.

(name)'s roommate was too kind for his own good to everyone and it certainly did have an affect on him. (name) sighed quietly and reached his hand out for rin to grab so (name) could help him stand up. rin hesitated for a moment but soon reached his hand out for (name)'s. helping rin stand before turning around and walking off.

rin huffed and crossed his arms over his chest at (name)'s antics. but deep down, rin felt somewhat appreciative that (name) actually helped him up. it felt good. rin turned around and walked back to the blue lock locker room where the rest were.

"we are going to be the u-20 team now!!" most of the players yelled happily as anri was congratulating them with tears in her eyes. threatening to fall. ego and (name) entered the locker room soon after as ego scratched the back of his neck.

"stop crying, moron. you're making it look like this result is some kind of miracle." ego said bluntly making anri pout and mumble something. ego told anri to calm herself and anri covered her face using her hands, quietly apologizing.

(name) was awkwardly patting anri's back as anri continued to sniffle quietly while ego was currently discussing the match with the players. ego went onto explain before turning his back around and leaving the room and waving his hand dismissively.

anri clasped her hands together because she remembered something. she smiled widely. "alright! so today, as a special bonus for your victory today.. the menu at the cafeteria will be super luxurious and all you can eat! this is all i can personally do for you guys!" anri said, tears were still pricking her eyes but she had the widest smile.

the boys began to cheer happily while leaving the locker room. most of the boys left but isagi and rin didn't. (name) and anri left together to talk about the cafeteria menu. (name) was incharge of buying all the food, plates and utensils while anri will cook.

from the two week break, (name) was going to go back home but something sparked in him to just stay in the city for a bit longer or even just a while. plus, how bad could it possibly be anyways?
