while the bastard munchen vs ubers was going on, (name) was bored. after his little hot tub moment with reo and nagi, he had nothing to do. he simply began walking around the stratums, feeling bored because he had nothing else to do and it was a tiny bit odd that kaiser was not flirting or annoying him right now and that he was not interacting with anyone but, he is finally getting some of his alone time.

(name) yawned quietly while walking the empty, silent halls that felt quite eerie. he sat himself down in ego's office because he basically just barges in whenever he wants and barges out whenever he wants. ego does not care either and it never really bothered both of them about their odd and somewhat best friend relationship. anri was the witness of the two's bickering and gossips. she did not what to say to that honestly.

(name) pulled the chair back and sat down beside ego while he was staring at the screen. (name) opened up his book to read and placed it on his lap, his eyes staring at the book blankly while scanning through it in a bored manner. he has not been able to find any books that caught his eyes lately so he was just reading random books ego had given him out of pure boredom.

now, ego's office was filled with pure silence. with the sound of keyboard typing, quiet breathing and book pages flipping quietly in the background as the two boys were in their own little world right now. the silence was pretty peaceful, it was a contrast to (name)'s everyday life when he would have to deal with rin and shidou's fights, bastard munchen's drama and maybe even his roommate's pestering as well as nagging and yelling when he was still back at home.

around thirty minutes later, anri entered the report something to ego and was pleasantly surprised by the sight of (name) being there in the room. but she did notice that (name) was resting his head on his hand, his eyes closed shut while the book was still in his lap. ego paid no attention to the now sleeping (name) but he did took small glances here and there to check up on (name) while still watching the bastard munchen vs ubers match.

"what are you waiting and standing there for anri? hurry up." ego sassed when he noticed that anri was just standing there while holding the cups of black coffee on a tray that ego asked her to bring since ego was a sleep deprived freak. anri giggled in an awkward and nervous manner before walking over, her heels clicking the floor slightly before she placed the tray of coffee on the table.

anri took a glance at ego and she could see that he was watching the match very intensely while (name) was asleep. (name) was breathing quietly and slowly, seemingly feeling comfortable in his position right now. even though he was sitting down on a chair with his legs crossed and his head resting on his hand. anri would have never been able to sleep in that position but the sight of (name) sleeping made her smile. she saw (name) as a little brother.

anri took a blanket out and draped it over (name)'s shoulder, letting out a quiet but happy giggle and squeal at the cute sight. she took her phone out her pocket and began snapping photos of (name) sleeping in many different angles. ego face palmed at the sight but he did not say anything as he took a sip of his coffee that anri had prepared and then continued to watch the match on his multiple monitor screens of the match.

the three of them had an odd relationship but it was all platonic. ego was basically the elder brother, anri was the elder sister and (name) was the little brother they had who they babied way too much sometimes. ego cared for the both of them a lot though he would not admit that but he did genuinely appreciate them a lot. it was as if they were found family. they were not blood related but they adored one another like they were family.

anri sat down on the chair beside where (name) was sitting, observing the large and multiple monitor screens that showed the many matches, players and games. her hand intuitively went to (name)'s fluffy hair and she began to play with it while giving (name)'s head a light head massage to ease up (name)'s stress. so now, ego and anri were just watching the matches while (name) was fast asleep, breathing deeply and quietly.

they had a peaceful silence for a moment, feeling comfortable in each other's presence without needing to speak. ego sipped on his coffee once more, a small smile curving up his lips at the warm feeling that he was unaware of blooming in his heart. all relationships did not have to be romantic after all. they could be platonic too.

im not goign to be back till wednesday because i have to go somewhere for school and we aren't allowed to bring phones and we need to stay there too for like a few days so i wont be able to update for a bit till like wednesday, this is just a heads up!!
