It wasn't like it hadn't happened before, I just never thought it would happen again. Loosing a family member/close friend was never easy, especially not, when you thought they would be there with you forever.
I never imagined I would loose Monique this early, but then again, she had cancer, and for a long while the doctors thought she was going to die, until one day when it happened...
I sobbed loudly as I hid myself under the covers in Justin and I's bed.
Justin was still at the studio, and I would never bother him, even though this was kinda an emergency.
I locked my phone and threw it down at the end of the bed, I didn't want to talk to anybody, I just wanted to lay in bed and cry my heart out.
Monique and I had been friends since diapers, she was actually the one that convinced me to move to LA in stead of Sussex in England, she thought we had bigger chances of becoming the persons we wanted to be, and she was right. Without her I would have never met Justin, I would have never left Sussex if it wasn't for her...
My phone went off, but I just ignored it, I didn't want to talk to anybody. I only responded after the person calling like 15 times or so. I groaned as I noticed Justin was calling, even though I loved him with all my heart, I just wanted to be alone and grief.
"Baby what's going on, why didn't you pick up your phone?" Justin asked in panic, I sniffled, or so I thought, but it turned out to be a big sob.
"Are you okay, baby what's happening?" Justin panicked, I dried my nose and closed my eyes.
"Monique died" I mumbled, Justin took a deep breath and started fumbling with something.
"I'm coming home, you're not going to be alone in such a situation" he said, I gulped and shook my head, until I realized he couldn't see me.
"No, stay! We can talk, when you finish a song or something" I told him, even though my body was telling me differently, I wanted him to be here, I wanted him to comfort me and hold me tight.
"No baby, you are not going to be alone right now, I'll be home in less than 10 minutes, until then you have to stay strong, change into something else than jeans and a shirt" Justin explained, I chuckled and nodded my head, he knew me so well...
"Okay, thank you" I told him, Justin sighed, then I heard his car start.
"I'll see you baby" he said, then he blew me a kiss through the phone and hung up.
I threw my phone on the bed, then I got up and went into our walk-in closet, I found a pair of Justin's sweatpants and a hoodie of his, it smelled like him, and it immediately made me feel better.
I pulled my hair up in a messy bun and took off my makeup, then a few minutes later Justin arrived at home. He suddenly wrapped his arms around me from behind me and hugged me tight.
"Hey" he mumbled, I half-smiled and turned around.
"Hey" I cleared my throat and hugged him tight.
"Come on, I have something I want to show you" he explained, then he picked me up and went downstairs, I furrowed my eyebrows and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Where are we going?" I asked Justin as I realized he was going towards the door.
"Nowhere, I just have something to show you" he explained, then he placed me on the ground and made me put on a pair of shoes.
I grabbed my leatherjacket and put on my colored Nike Air Max.
"Justin, why did you make me change?" I asked Justin as I got into his car.
"Because you look beautiful no matter what" he explained, I rolled my eyes and buckled my seatbelt.
"Liar" I told him, Justin shook his head, then he turned on the engine and drove out of our driveway to god knows where.
I raised an eyebrow as we arrived outside a hotel, Justin got out of the car and went over to my side and opened my door. I got out and wrapped my jacket tightly around me, even though it wasn't cold, I was just freezing, because of the grief and lost.
LA was a beautiful city at night, and Justin proved that, because a few seconds later we were up at the roof on top of the building.
"WOW" I mumbled to myself as I looked out at the beautiful city.
"I used to come here, whenever I was sad or just needed to be alone" Justin suddenly said, I turned around and looked at him.
"But I haven't been here the past few years, because you came into my life and made me whole" he continued, I awed and wrapped my arms around him.
"You're so perfect" I told him, Justin shook his head and pecked him cheek.
"Trust me, I'm not" he told me, I sighed and placed my head on his chest.
"It's so beautiful up here" I told him as I ignored his comment.
Justin nodded his head, then I felt a peck on top of my head.
"Do you wanna talk about Monique?" Justin asked as he pulled away and sat down. I nodded my head and sat down beside me.
"I can't believe she's gone" I told him, Justin wrapped an arm around my shoulders and held me tight.
"I know how much she meant to you" he told me, I looked up at him and nodded.
"Without her I wouldn't have met you" I told him, I looked at the beautiful city as a tear ran down my cheek, Justin dried away my tear and smiled at me.
"I don't believe that" he explained, I furrowed my eyebrows and looked up at him.
"What do you mean?" I asked him,
"I mean, we would have found each other no matter what, Monique just made our journey was easier" he explained, I bit down in my lip as I admired him.
"You're so cute" I told him, truthfully. Justin smiled and looked down at me.
"Only for you baby, only for you" he smirked, I shook my head and gently slapped his chest.
"How do you think our lives would have been without each other?" I suddenly asked Justin, I had always wondered about my life without Justin, even though I never wanted it to happen.
"I would still have been that jerk I was back then, you would have gotten a perfect education, and you wouldn't have to sit here with me" Justin said without thinking.
"Whoa, where did that come from?" I asked him as I pulled away from him, Justin shrugged his shoulders and bit down in his lip.
"That is so not true, Justin! My life would have been miserable without you" I told him, Justin sighed and gulped loudly.
"You think so?" he asked me, I immediately nodded my head and sat on his lap.
"I don't think so, I know" I told him, then I wrapped my arms around his neck and gently pressed my lips against his. Our lips moved perfectly in sync as Justin laid down. He rolled us around and deepened the kiss even more. He slowly added his tongue and gently caressed my hips.
"I love you so much" he breathed as he pulled away from me, I smiled and him, then I looked up at the sky, the starts were shining brightly, it was so beautiful.
"My love for you is like the stars, it's always there, you just can't always see it" I teased Justin as I caressed his neck. Justin shook his head as he chuckled.
"You're so stupid" he mumbled as he leaned down to my neck.
"You're so indecisive of what I'm saying, trying to catch the beat, make up your heart, don't know if you're happy, or complaining" Justin suddenly sang, I pulled him away from my neck and looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"What was that?" I asked him, Justin smiled and bit down in his lip.
"Some of my new song" he explained, I gasped and sat up, which caused Justin to fall onto the ground.
"Did you finish it?" I asked him, Justin chuckled and shook his head as he stood up.
"No, but I'm soon going to, because you just inspired me" he explained, then he helped me up and wrapped his around me.
"What do you mean? When you nod your head yes, but you wanna say no. What do you mean? When you don't want me to move, but you tell me to go. What do you mean?" he beautifully sang.
"First you wanna go to the left, then you wanna turn right, wanna argue all day, making love all night" he seductively sang, I furrowed my eyebrows and moved away from me.
"Is the song about me?" I asked him as I glared at him.
"Yeah, do you recognize, what I'm singing about?" he smirked, I nodded my head and crossed my hand over my chest.
"It was one time, one time we argued all day, and then the other at night" I told him, Justin laughed and leaned his head back.
"I know baby, I just thought it sounded good" he told me, I pouted and looked down in the ground.
"You're so cute baby" he said, then he wrapped his arms tightly around my shoulders and rocked us back and forth.
This song was going to be amazing...
