"What?" Liam asks. "How could you know that? Were you here?"
"No, but..." I look out at the hallway again, and somehow I can tell Theo was there. "But Theo was."
"You don't think he killed someone, do you?"
I shake my head. "I-I saw the Beast, and it had a dismembered head, and-"
"Wait," Scott interrupts me. "What do you mean you saw it?"
"Like, some sort of a vision. Just now."
Liam and Scott look at each other.
"What?"
"Nothing," Liam says. "Let's get you to class."
I nod, then turn to look at Scott. "I wanna be part of your pack. I wanna be one of the good guys."
Scott nods. "Okay, I'll see if we can find a place for you," he says with a smile.
I smile. "Thanks. But I'm still gonna hang around Theo, I'm gonna see if he'll tell me stuff."
He nods again. "As long as you don't tell him stuff."
I nod. "I promise, I won't tell him anything."
"Good, now go to class."
I turn and walk out of the empty classroom.
