Ezra's POV
I drove for many hours. I drove and drove. My phone rung a couple times. It was Aria but I didn't answer. She was probably just calling to tell me to stay out of her life. That's exactly what I was doing. She was my love. She was my entire life, but I couldn't force her to be with me. She obviously didn't want to get back together. I was going to be the good guy and leave before things got too complicated. I stopped at a small motel for the night and the next morning I set off again. It took awhile to get to my destination but when I did get there. I parked the car in the parking lot. I didn't get out for awhile though. I ran my hands through my hair. I didn't want this. I wanted to be with Aria right now. Why couldn't she understand I made a mistake? All I want is for her to look me in the face and tell me that everything is okay. I want her to forgive me more than anything. But that wasn't happening right now. I got out of the car and walked into the main office, handing the woman at the front desk my credit card.
"So how long will you be staying sir?" She asks, typing at her computer.
"How about forever?"
