The Fall happened, but what our families missed in their blind arrogance was the fact the world could move on after it, and it did. The world moved forward as we moved backwards, resorting to barbaric ways of life—killing with our bare hands, pillaging and stalking our enemies. The worst part of it all was they knew. They knew the world moved on around us, but they had something the world before had not given them; they had power. They ruled the world they created, and in their selfishness they refused to let it go. They became exactly what led to The Fall in the first place, and that could only end one way, with another fall.

As they fell, we moved on in a world where we resorted back to simpler ways of life. Power was never meant to be limitless in a Democracy, and now, in this world, it is not. There are limits to terms, and levels of laws so deep we can never go back to the way things were. There are rich, and there are poor, but there are opportunities and hard work.

There is life.

There is truth.

And best of all there is love.

My name is Kate Marks.

And I am a truth fighter.
