*tiptoes through imaginary door, then stops dead, looking like deer in headlights* Oh. Uh. *gulps* Hi, Mom. D-did you have a good day? I know I did. *pauses*

What? Why are you holding out your hand like that? Oh. Oh. You w-want my...uh, report card, huh? Well. Um. see, my teacher said she'd give them to us tomorrow, so—

What?! The school called and said that?! Hmm. Oh. Y-yeah. We did all get our report cards today. I just...forgot. *laughs nervously* Yeah. I'm sorry. We got them in first block, so it slipped my mind for a minute. Lemme find it.... *roots around in backpack*

Huh. *frowns* It's...not in here. I must've left it on the bus, then. B-but it's okay. I didn't get more than a quick glance at it, but I think it said Bs on it....

Whoa! No! You don't need to call them and ask them to look on the bus! The school doesn't need it back signed this year.... Hey! Why're you looking through my backpack—oh. *gulps* There it is. Huh. What do ya know. I must've...folded it up and . . . forgotten I put it in the front pocket. *pauses* Of course I didn't do it on purpose! Why would I ever do that? *pauses again*

Ds? What do you mean? They were Bs, I swear! The teachers...must have mistyped it.... Heh....

Notes: Another good one if you're auditioning for a more regular character in a more realistic, modern, dramedy-type show. I've never used it personally myself, but it's a simplistic, fun, and relate-able one to do, that's for sure.
