Luke's P.O.V.

When a company screws up, the best thing to do is call a press conference. Alert the media and then you control the story. Wait for them to find out and the story controls you.

Jaxon really fucked up when he decided his brother, his reckless brother, was going to run his business for a day to get a hold of the ropes for their business in New York.

When the kid took over he somehow managed to get 6 restraining orders in a matter of hours, sexually assault three women, then get thrown in jail then get out because his brother is a very powerful man.

Where Jaxon screwed up is when he got his brother out of jail.

This morning when I came into work the press bombarded me with, "WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE JAXON DANIEL SITUATION!?" I had no fucking idea who Daniel was, I could care less but when my assistant told me the story I knew he would be fucking bashed in the media. Like he shouldn't show his face ever only to his hearing and then when he goes to jail.

Today is Saturday, the gala, which is still going to happen, and the double date Bella set up for us.

I honestly have no idea how to act today during the date. Do I smile? Do I act like his boss? Should I allow him to see me in a non-boss way?

Before I met Bella I would've answered these questions in less than a second.

She has changed me in so many ways. Never did I smile, never did I laugh, never was I nice; I am a completely different person with her in my life.

I'm getting ready now for the date and decided on a dark blue button-up shirt, dark khaki pants, and dark blue casual shoes.
