"I have to be off." I told caspian as he wondered where I was going.
"Off to where?"
"Across Narnia. The sea and beyond that. There is a lot unexplored and people who we must build alliance with under aslan."
"You're way too smart for being just a noblewoman." Caspian laughed.
"Well I am the top noblewoman."
"You're the only noblewoman, y/n."
"You got me there!" I laughed.
Peter walked out of the doors and saw me about to leave.
"We're are you off to?"
"The north side." I replied
"But that's through the woods. It's winter there now." He warned
"Yes I know."
"Do you have at least a coat?" Peter lightly spited.
"No. I'll be fine."
"I can't except that. I don't need my only noblewoman dying. Caspian do we still have those coats we came in here with?"
"The ones from hundreds of years ago?" He asked.
"Yes."
"I believe so. I'll go fetch one."
"Get mine. It was the warmest."
Caspian came back not too long later with the fur coat.
I tried to grab it from him but he rejected my grabbiness.
"Peter I can put a coat on myself."
"I know but I want to do it for you. It's the least I can do for your service here."
Caspian knew he wasn't needed anymore and so he went off to find Susan.
I sighed and turned around as he placed the coat around my body.
It was really warm. It kinda felt nice for peter to pay attention to me. Yes I saw him every morning when he demanded services to be done, but for him to notice me, it was a change of pace that I very much enjoyed.
I guess you could say I had a little bit off a thing for him. We both had tension between us but we never dared speak of it.
He turned me to face him and he started to button it for me.
"Peter I know how to do this."
"Shut up." He commanded and I didn't speak after.
He got to the last button and I looked into his focused sea blue eyes which made my heart twinge and I developed a question in my head.
"Who will take care of my services while I'm gone?"
"Edmund." Peter laughed as he finished the button and looked at me.
"You're kidding?"
"Nope." He popped the p and I let out a good laugh.
"I bet he's gonna love that."
"I know right? I can just feel his excitement from here." He squinted at the sun and smirked.
I shook my head at the image and sighed.
"Well I should be off then." I shuffled awkwardly.
I had just exited peter reach when he called out for me.
"Yes?" I asked.
He speed walked to me and grabbed my hands. He looked at me and then he realized the tension between us
"Be safe. That's an order." He tried to break the love in the air.
I nodded and turned.
Part of me wanted him to stop me and kiss me but the other half wish that will never happen because I did not want to have to explain it to everyone.
I reached the edge of the forest and looked back to see peter look sad. I waved goodbye to peter who stood alone and walked into the forest.
