JIMIN TURNED HIS ATTENTION to the door, hearing a knock. His eyebrows furrowed, looking at the time. 11:23 PM.
“That's odd.” He thought since who will knock at his door at almost midnight, right?
Fear rushed in him, thinking it might be stalkers or maybe the one who is texting him now.
He quietly took a pan from his kitchen, readying to hit someone before even opening the door.
But as soon as he opened the door, he was about to hit the person in front of him.
“Woah, woah, woah. It's me.” His eyes widened and he quickly put down the pan he was holding.
“Chaeng . . . ” he muttered and she smiled which caused for him to smile back.
The girl quickly hugged Jimin which made him caught off guard.
“You're here.” he says after breaking the hug.
“Yes, and I brought food. Nothing is much good than a late midnight snack. ” Rosé says, walking in to his house.
As they sat down, eating, Jimin stared at her.
“You're real, right?” he asked and she stared at him before giggling.
“Of course, stupid. I'm one hundred percent real. You're not dreaming.” she says, caressing his cheek and Jimin holds her hand.
“You must be surprised I'm doing this to you. Like being sweet and all. I just . . . Realized I can't always hide to the truth.” she explained.
“The truth I still love you. Thank God, Lisa made me realise———”
“Wait, Lisa? That one model who kept———”
“Yes. We made up. We're friends now.” Chaeyoung smiled and Jimin gave a smile too.
They had romantic conversations full of laughter and all.
But Chaeyoung suddenly went silent, realizing something.
“Jimin . . . I haven't broken up the engagement with Taehyung. I haven't even broke up with him!” Rosé realized, gulping in the process, panicking.
“I was just so excited to tell you that I still love you that I forgot about Taehyung!” Chaeyoung added as tears formed her eyes.
“Chaeng, calm down. Calm down.” The girl had calm down after a few minutes of Jimin consoling her.
“I'm not ready. To call off the engagement. I don't want him to be heartbroken. After these years, he stayed at my side. ” Chaeyoung said as a tear fell once again from her eye.
“That's okay. We won't do anything unless you're ready to broke up with Tae.” Jimin said, smiling to assure the girl.
Rosé nodded, smiling back to him.

“Boss, I got some more pictures.” he said through the phone as he stares at the pictures he caught, using the camera.
“Good, good. Let's see if they'll have a good new year once those pictures got published.”
