I am on the podium of my school hall smiling and collecting my certificate of excellence. Our exams are over and our graduation is today. I smile for the camera while holding Miss. Claudia's hand.
I hear my friends cheering and I walk down smiling at them. For our graduation, we all wore blue and white. The girls wore blue dresses with white heels. While the boys wore blue suits with white torso. We all looked cute and fantastic. A speech was going on now by our vice principal.
My mind of course wasn't in the boring speech but the fact that I might not see my friends for a long time. We might only call and chat but we are gonna get separated. Going to West High School is one of the best things that had ever happened to me.
I found happiness, joy, true friendship and true love here. My friends made it a blast and Andrew made it perfect.I am really gonna miss them. And I know my dad will want me to go to a prestigious institution for college.
The sudden cheer from the students interrupts my thoughts. Finally my vice principal had stopped her speech. And Jackson winks at me as we cheer and throw our graduation caps in the air. We hug each other. Me, Vera and Ella hold ourselves in a tight hug.
"Call each other every day" Ella says tears in her eyes
"Text each other ever day" Vera says
"Video call every day" I say also tearing up
"Chat everyday" Ella says
"And if possible, meet every day" Vera says
That makes us all burst into tears, hugging each other and murmuring how we are going to miss each other. I see the boys coming towards us and I hug Jackson.
"Hey damsel it's okay" Jackson says while stroking my hair
"I am gonna miss you" I whisper
"Me too but do you wanna see me alive soon?"
"Yes of course, why will you ask such a dumb question" I say looking at him confused
"Cause your boyfriend is staring daggers at me"
I turn around to see an angry and jealous Andrew looking at us. I chuckle and release Jackson. I run to Andrew and throw myself at him, his strong arms catching me.
"You know you are mine right??" He says looking at me
"Yeah yeah now stop acting like a big baby" I say while rolling my eyes
"I am gonna miss you so much" He says
"Trust me I am gonna miss you more" I say
"No I am"
"No I am"
"No I am"
"No I am"
"Babies" We hear Tony and Mark say from behind us.
We roll our eyes at them and hug each other. I am gonna really miss him but we still had Ella's birthday to celebrate so we can all still see each other.
We all walk out to the red carpet spot for the pictures. I had to admit we looked gorgeous with our dresses. Mine was an off shoulder flairy gown which swept the ground.
Me, Vera and Ella take pictures together. We did cute faces, then cool faces, then looked like models, then weird faces to rockstar's faces. We looked very beautiful and breathtaking. You could see the boys sulking and looking proud as we were taking pictures. Soon, Lily joins us as we take pictures.
I and Andrew took pictures, his hand on my waist while my head rested on his chest. And another one where we were looking at each other. And another where we were kissing. I had to pull away or else we would have been in that position forever.
Tony and Vera also took pictures, Mark and Ella, and Jackson and Lily. After all the couple pictures, we took pictures together and did many faces. From cute faces to weird faces. I look at all the people around me as we laughed. Jackson, Vera, Ella, Tony, Mark, Lily and Andrew. I am gonna miss them so much.
Hey guys, they had their graduation. Lucky them I am not sure if I am gonna have mine because of the whole confusion. But I really hope I have mine and have memories like them. Like two or three more chapters to go.
