"Princess Chaeyoung, Princess Lia."

Everyone gave them a curtsy, and took their seats on the table again. Lia looked around and then turned to Taehyung, "Where is my dearest older brother? And, that friend of his, what was her name again? Hera?" She smirked, and Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"They must be coming."

"No one can take the table after the queen." Chaeyoung frowned. "You shall go and check up on them."

Just then, Baekhyun arrived with Hera walking behind him hurriedly. The two looked exhausted and flushed. Lia raised her eyebrows, but didn't comment, however the innocent Irene had another plan. "Hera, are you feeling okay?" She asked.

Hera took her seat, and fluttered her eyes. "Yes. Of course. Yes. It's just... It's just the weather." She smiled uneasy, and turned red when Lia chuckled.

"Don't mind me. Just remembered some joke." The princess shrugged, and started scrolling her phone. Chaeyoung didn't know what to make out of the situation, so she changed the topic, and turned to others.

"I'm glad we could gather here like this." Chaeyoung smiled, and glanced at Soojin, who was upstairs, on duty. "I wish she and Jimin could join us. Such a shame."

"Right," Jungkook said, turning the attention to himself. "I must say, you've such a kind heart Princess. Queen too. Inviting us commoners in the palace, treating your guards equally good. It's hard to see kindness nowadays."

"Well, I believe that kindness is underrated as well as too pricey to afford." Chaeyoung sighed. "Apparently the world doesn't let you be kind, so it's the most logical aspect of human nature."

"Darling, please lower your literary standard. They go over my head," Baekhyun muttered, and she rolled her eyes. "The queen is here."

Everyone stood up immediately, and Hera as nervous as she was, knocked her knee against the table leg, and bit her lip to suppress her cry. Baekhyun, on the other end, near the queen, glanced at her worriedly, and she smiled a little to ease his tension. As if to say she was alright. Even if she was not. Irene helped her sit as the queen sat down.

The dinner was as formal as it could get. The queen got engaged into a conversation with almost everyone, but aside from the family's reputation, she hardly asked anything else. She had her fair share of sadness that Princess Joy couldn't join them, and she didn't pass any chance to show it. Jin and Lisa were her favourite kids as she already knew them, and of course, Irene became her subject of admiration for her beauty. Namjoon had a brilliant mind, but unfortunately, the queen wasn't interested in his point of view of the world. Jungkook did try his best to skip most of the details, and his bland refusal didn't go unnoticed by the queen, and she moved to Hera.
