when im done signing, I put the pen down then look at ross
"so now what?" I ask confused
"now I do this" he leans in and kisses me pushing me down. I push him off of me
"no ross" he sits back up "im pregnant" he looks down
"im sorry I just-"he cuts me off
"its fine. im happy that were having another kid but I feel like you are worried about something" he looks back at me
"its just, savannah. she talked to me at the party and she told me that even if I wanted to leave, you would always have carly to go to" I look him in the eyes
"laura I love you so much. I promise you that carly is not important to me. the only thing that matters is you, Rachel, and now this new baby"Ross places his hand on my stomach. I place mine over his and we both smile
"Well we better get some sleep. Rachel's birthday party is tomorrow"Ross stands up. I groan
"I don't want to. I just want to snuggle"I open my arms for a hug. He picks me up bridal style instead and carries me upstairs. Then we both lay in bed. I lay on his bare chest and listen to his heartbeat
"Good night"Ross whispers
"Good night"I whisper back. Then I close my eyes
VANESSA POV
I open my eyes and look at riker. He is sound asleep. I shoot up and run to the bathroom and throw up. Soon I hear riker wake up
"You ok?"riker holds my hair
"Yeah"I sigh then wash my face
"It's almost due. I'm scared"I hop onto the sink
"Why are you scared you've done it once"riker rubs my thigh looking at me
"It's just...when Laura and u were growing up I was the oldest. Then Laura came and I always felt left out. Promise me that you will always love Nicole. And she will always be your little girl"I grab his hand
"I promise"he goes on his tippy toes and kisses me softly
"We better get going. Rachel's birthday party is at noon and it's already 9"I jump off the counter making my stomach unsettled but I Ignore it and we walk downstairs. Riker starts making breakfast as Nicole walks down
"Morning sweetly did you sleep good?"I ask. She nods obviously still tired then sits next to me. Riker puts food in front of her and she starts eating
"So today is Rachel's 8th birthday"I start a conversation. She nods while eating
"I know I got her a present"both riker and I look at her
"Oh so Brittany's dad bought her a webkinz that she didn't want so she gave it to and i was going to give it to her"I nod in agreement
"Your father and I got her a doll house"she looks up at riker and he puts his finger over his lips
"Shhh"he says through his finger
"We better get ready to go"riker lifts up Nicole and carries her upstairs like an idiot while she is laughing along. Then we all get ready. I can't believe Rachel is 8. That means nicole is 10. Jeez
LAURA POV
It is noon now so people start coming in for the party. Including Vanessa, riker, and Nicole. Once Nicole sees Rachel she runs away
"Hey guys"Vanessa hugs me and hands me two presents
"Oh Nicole got her a present"riker says. I hug him to as Ross hugs Vanessa. Then we all start conversation
"Woah"Vanessa bursts out. We all look at her
"Honey what's wrong?"riker grabs her hand but it doesn't seem to be working. Then liquid starts running down her leg
"Ok we have to get to a hospital. Please watch Nicole. We will call when it's done"Ross nods. Riker leads Vanessa outside
"Yikes that was very sudden"I look at Ross and he nods in agreement. I look towards the door and see Savannah walk in. I roll my eyes and stay next to Ross.
