LAURA POV
i wake up and im on the hill. all my clothes are dirty and my hair is messed up. just then my phone goes off
hello?
laura! where are you?
um im on the hill who is this?
its delly look i have some bad news

well ross sort of is in a coma
what?!?!?
when you stormed off, he felt so bad that his eyes closed and now hes in a coma but we dont know how long
ok thanks for telling me bye delly
bye laura
i hang up then stand up. i walk back to the hospital and make it there around 12
"laura"delly gives me a hug
"theres more"i pull off the hug and look at her
"when ross wakes up, he wont remember anything"she says
"are you serious? but he can get it back right?"she shrugs
"i cant go back to conneticut. i have to stay here. ill go to collage here he needs to remember me"i cry in rydels shoulders again
3 MONTHS LATER
laura dropped out of Yale and started taking classes online. she is staying with the lynches. riker and vanessa got their own place. both vanessa and ellen are 4 months pregnant. ross still didnt wake up
LAURA POV
"im going to go to the hospital"i yell then drive to the hospital. when i get there, i walk into ross room and see carly in there. i stare through the window again
ROSS POV
i open my eyes and see that im in the hospital and there is a girl next to me
"who are you?"i ask and she looks at me
"im carly. you dont remember me?"i shake my head then she leaves mad. just after her another girl walks in
"ross, do you know who i am?"i shake my head once again. the girl sighs then more people walk in. i see my mom and family
"mom? why am i here and who are they?"i point to the two girls
LAURA POV
ross points to me and vanessa
"shhhh ross they are our friends this laura and vanessa"stormie introduses us to ross and he gives us a little wave. i turn around and try to stop crying but i cant. just then a doctor walks in
"ok ross you are free to go but i need to talk with your family quick"the doctor pulls all of us into the hallway
"so ross has major memory loss. the last thing he remembers is waiting for someone on a hill"the doctor walks away and we all go back inside to get ross. we all drive home
"del. what do you think the doctor meant by the waiting for someone on a hill?"she shrugs then walk upstairs. i sigh then go to my room and try to think
VANESSA POV
"riker?"i ask while hes driving
"yeah?"he asks not looking at me
"do you want a boy or girl?"i look and him and he sighs
"i really dont know. if its a boy i can teach him how to play hockey and flirt with girls. but if its a girl i can teach her about falling for the right guy. he grabs my hand then we drive home in silence
LAURA POV
the next morning i wake up to the smell of bacon. i get up and walk downstairs to see ross cooking
"hey ross"i say and sit on the chair
"you live here?"he asks sliding a plate over
"its complicated"i sigh and start eating
"ok"he sits next to me and eats also
"so who were you with on the hill?"i ask and he lifts his head
"ally. has anyone contacted her?"he then asks
"um no"i look down at my food. he stands up and grabs his phone
"who are you calling?"i ask standing up
"ally"he puts the phone up to his ear
"no ross"i try taking the phone but he turns around so i cant
"hey baby can you come over?"he says and i stand still
ALLY POV
i grab my phone off the table and see that its ross
"what does he want?"austin asks and i shrug then answer it
"hey baby can you come over?"i hear him say
ross im not your baby are you ok?
of course im ok but why arent you my baby?
um we broke up?
what? why when?
well its been 5 months now and we broke up because you liked somone else
no. none of that happened i love you
LAURA POV
i stand next to ross and listen to his conversation. until he says "i love you" after that i walk upstairs
"laur are you ok?"delly asks and i imediatly cry in her shoulders
"ross doesnt love me anymore"i sob
"thats not true"she says and i pull away from the hug
"he called ally and told her that he loves her. wait oh no"i walk into my room and delly follows
"whats wrong?"she asks
"ross only remembers everything until the day we meet. we meet the day that he was waiting for ally on the hill for their date"i cover my mouth and run my hands through my hair pacing back and forth
"ok so now what?"she asks and i start biting my nails still pacing
"i dont know but i just need to be alone right now. dont you have work?"i ask her and her eyes go wide then she runs out. i slam the door shut then cry my eyes out
ROSS POV
well ally just explained mostly everything to me. she said that i liked someone else. but who? just then i hear a door slam. i walk upstairs to lauras room and knock
"laura?"i knock
"go away"she says through the door and i walk away into my room. i sit on my bed and try to comprehend everything that ally told me
