LAURA POV
"Lar who are you talking to?"my mom walks in
"No one"I hide my phone under a blanket
"Ok goodnight then"she closes the door and I fall onto my bed. I close my eyes and fall asleep
ROSS POV
I wake up the next morning with dried tear stains on my face. I get up and get dressed. I don't have to work today though. I grab my clothes and get in the shower. I stand and let the hot water run through my hair and down my back. I stand for a few minutes before my mom yells my name
"Ross hurry up I need you to do something for me!"she yells from downstairs. I groan before turning off the water and getting dressed. I walk downstairs to see my mom
"Great your here um I need you and the boys to go clean all the bedrooms your cousins are coming over and they are using the guest bedroom"Riker and rocky walk in
"But that's Laura room"I state and my mom sighs
"Ross, she's not here anymore"I sigh before walking upstairs and go into Laura old room. I inhale and it still smells like her. I walk in and start cleaning.
LAURA POV
I wake up by Vanessa shaking me
"Laura, get up"she shakes me
"What"I groan
"Mom wants you down for breakfast"she stops shaking me then leaves. I pull myself up and rub my eyes. I feel my stomach then run downstairs to the bathroom. Vanessa and my mom run after me
"Lar?"my mom asks and I stop puking and get up. I open the door then pull Vanessa to the side
"I need to see Ross can you cover for me?"I whisper
"What of course not why would I ever do that to mom or da-"I cut her off
"I think I'm in trouble"I plead then she nods
"In 5 minutes I will call mom and dad into the barn. That's when you run"I nod then she leaves. Once she's out of site I immediately text rydel to meet me on the hill
"Honey breakfast is ready"my mom yells then Vanessa yells
"Mom dad can you come in the barn?"my mom and dad go to the barn then I grab a piece of bacon then run. I run all the way to the hill because I can't run all the way to Ross house. I make it to the hill and wait for rydel. A few seconds later, I hear someone coming. I turn around and see rydel. I run to her and cry in her arms
"Lar what's wrong?"she asks and I pull away wiping tears
"C-can you drive me to the store? I need to take a test"she looks at me confused but I furrow my eyebrows so she understands. Her eyes go wide then she leads me to her car and speeds to the nearest store. Once we get there I run in and find one
"Ok rydel you go pay for it and I will be in the bathroom"we go our separate ways. I run into a stall in the bathroom and rip open the pregnancy test box. I see on the stick the set a timer for 1 minute on my phone
"Lar, lar you in here?"rydel walks in and the beeper goes off. I check the test and stare at it. I walk out of the stall and show rydel the test. I look at her then once she looks at me I hug her and cry
"I can't be pregnant del I can't"I sob
"Shhhh it's ok"she rubs my back while I cry
"I can't tell Ross"I pull away
"Lar you have to. He would be so happy"she says
"No he would kill me please don't tell him"I shove the test in her purse then walk out. We go in the car and rydel drives me to the hill
"Thanks again"I say before closing the door. I sit on the hill and lay on the ground not caring about anything
RYDEL POV
I can't believe Laura is pregnant. I fish out the test that Laura shoved in the purse and stare at it. No I can't tell Ross. I stop the car and get out. I walk into the house to see Riker and Rocky throwing a ball around
"Hey guys"I say. I walk to the kitchen and put my purse on the island then go in the fridge to get a soda. All of a sudden I hear something fall. I look over and see my purse fell
"Rocky!"I yell then go to pick everything up. He kneels down an helps me. He grabs something but before putting it back in my purse, he looks at it
"Rydel is there something you need to say?"he looks at me holding the test
"No I uh no"I grab the test from him and we both get up
"Are you pregnant?"my eyes go wide
"What no"he grabs my purse and takes the test out
"Then what is this. You are pregnant and you didn't tell Ratliff. That's where you went just now wai-"
"It's not mine"I say raising my voice and he looks at me
"It's Laura's"I say and Rocky goes wide eyed
"Please rocky you were never supposed to find out so don't tell Ross"he nods. Then Ross comes down
"Hey guys I finished cleaning Laura's room"I nod then rocky pulls me aside
"Is Laura upset?"I nod "then let's see if Ross even wants a kid"he goes back to Ross and just walk with him
"Rocky stop"I whisper but he ignores me
"Hey Ross congrats"rocky says and Ross looks at him confused. I knew now that I messed everything up
"Congrats on what"he asks still confused
"About your new fatherhood"he pants Ross on the shoulder and his eyes go wide
"W-what?"he asks and I mentally facepalm myself
"Yeah don't you remember last night after Laura left you got drunk and ally cam over"I slap rocky arm
"Are you joking? I would never do that. I'm in love with Laura. Are you sure?"and rocky nods
"No I can't do that. I can't have a kid I'm only 16. I love Laura. He then runs out of the house
ROSS POV
I drive to the only place where I know Laura will be. I park the car and run up the hill and just was right. I see Laura laying on the ground. I purposely step on a stick and she looks my direction. She stands up but instead of running towards me she just stands there. I walk towards her but she doesn't move. I run to her but she still doesn't move
"Lar"I say and she looks at me
"Why are you here"she asks and I look at her confused
"Wh- I'm here because I love you"she looks down
"No Ross, my dad is going to kill you if he finds you her"she starts backing away
"Why do you care about what your dad has to say? Laura I love you and that's all that matters"I grab her hand
"Ross I I can't"I put my and on he cheek
"What happened to that conversation on the phone last night. Do you not care anymore?"she looks into my eyes
"I do care but that was before, before I found out that"she starts crying
"What found out what"I ask
