The shadow passed by me.

He didn't stop.

He didn't stop running, as he passed me.

For a second, I thought I'd heard the sound of something drop from him.

I slowly straightened off of the ground, eyes wide, as I panted.

I eyed him as he ran away, and disappeared from my site.

His face was not visible, and I was already seeing double because of my tension.

I wet my lips ─which'd become dry, and slowly began moving up.

My eyes widened again, as I eyed what the guy had dropped.

Blood froze in my veins.

A broken mirror.

The crack was wider, but not total yet.

The mirror was of the same size and shape of the two previous ones.

I gulped, as I held the mirror, and stuffed into my bag again.

I quickly picked up my pace at that, and tried calming my very uneven breathing rate.

I was really scared.

But more importantly, I was confused.

I didn't even have the slightest idea what was going on!

I finally reached the cafe, and yep, here I was, standing before the assigned cafe Abel Daniels was -probably- waiting in.

I gave myself a final glance at the glass of the cafe.

Well, presentable.

Pencil skirt, working chemise, the low bun to the right, the bit of mascara and gloss.

I took a deep breath, and headed in after eying the time.

Humph, I'm twenty minutes late, let's see if he's still waiting!

Entering, I scanned the cafe.

My eyes finally caught him, sitting at the corner beside the window, gazing outside.

I approached the table, cautiously.

As I reached there, he turned to my direction, abruptly.

And my heart almost paused.

A small smile crossed his full lips for a tiny second, before he turned to hide it directly.

He turned back to me, as I moved the chair facing him, and sat.

His wolven eyes roamed over me, and I felt them flaming.

They were too warm and too cold at once. His expression was that neutral one ─just like when I'd first met him.

I licked my lips, and avoided his gaze.

A moment of wordlessness passed, where neither of us spoke a thing.

I simply tapped my fingers together nervously.

Damn, say something man!

"I somehow knew you'd come." His voice finally echoed, composedly.

I furrowed my eyebrows, but did not look towards him.

"H-How so?"

He bit his full lips, and that movement of him ugh made me so... so flustered!
