"How could you have lost?!" Chase yells, "You weren't supposed to lose!"

After Miracle's crushing defeat, Lillie suggested that she take her back home, Chase just kinda followed us.

He clearly never learned the meaning of stranger danger.

"You try beating a steel-electric type with nothing but a water type and a flying type."Miracle yells back.

That's actually her fault.
Grubbin live in the same grass as Pikipek and so do Pichu.
Sure, it wouldn't do anything but she could've stalled.

"That's your fault. You should have come more prepared!"
Eyy!
Chase knows what's up.

He places his hands on his head, "I'm going to be the laughing stock of the school."

They continue to argue and Tiko sighs, "She's fighting with a child. Why?"
I shrug, "Maybe it's cause he's screaming at her."

I think the better question is, why is she losing the argument?

"Pew!"
It seems that Nebby was listening to our conversation.
Nebby's just creepy.

Tiko looks at Nebby then at me then back to Nebby. "I know!" He says fluttering his feathers.

"We should go to Hala! He could help us!" Tiko grabs me and pushes me out the door.
I land hard on the dirt coved trail.
I begin coughing to get some of the dirt out of my mouth.
One more point off respect for Tiko.

Tiko takes no mind of me dying and  he continues to fly over me, "C'mon, Isa! You're not a Slowpoke are you?"
He laughs at his joke and flies away.

I grumble to myself before waddling after him.
By the way, I've heard that Slowpoke joke a million times.
It's old and has made me lose some respect for the loud Pikipek.

We make it to Iki Town where Hala and Kukui are talking.
Tiko chirps at Rowlet, who is perched peacefully on Kukui's shoulder.
His sleep is ruined when Tiko squawks his head off.

Rowlet falls off of Kukui's shoulder, "Why is he so loud?" He mutters.

"Because thats my job!" Tiko replies proudly.

Once Rowlet recovers, he asks us why we're here, but not before he realizes that Tiko is the Pikipek that Litten apparently told him about.

"Did he say good things?" Tiko asks, barely able to hold his excitement.
Why would you want Litten's approval?
He's a grump.

"No. He said you're too reckless." Tiko doesn't say anything, but I can tell the next time we see Litten, Tiko won't be very happy.

"Anyways, You didn't answer my question." Rowlet says.

"We lost against a Magnemite." I say begrudgingly.

"So we came here to find another Pokémon to add to Miracle's team!" Tiko finishes.

Rowlet looks around, "Did you just leave without telling Miracle where you were?"

"Yeah, why?" I ask.

"You'll make her worry."

Oh, no.
Anything but that.

Tiko scoffs, "It'll be fine."
Suddenly Miracle comes dashing up the stairs, tripping on the last step and landing straight on her face.

I snorted.
It's not wrong!
She's fine.

"Miracle! Are you alright?" Lillie asks, crouching next to her.
Miracle gives her a thumbs up and rolls over.
Tiko bursts out laughing.
